Its called balance. There is a middle ground between D2 vanilla and everyone on the forums who have played 40+ hours without a single drop. Its not even fun at this point. Random rolls where the thing to keep the grind infinite and always have something to chase. Good luck getting the god roll exotic armor you want when you can't even get 1 engram. And I'm not saying shower us with exotic loot. But there is a huge middle ground between that and giving literally nothing
