Special ammo nerf from Rise Of Iron needs to return (For PvP only)
I seriously feel like its 1 step forward, 2 steps back for this franchise. You make a game around the crucible, but then enable people to win the game running around using nothing but shotguns.
And you may think, well "they'll run out of ammo at some point" but no they won't. People respawn with special and can pick it up from fallen teamates and enemies, its essentially infinite. I'm finding less primary fights than I did in the whole 3 years playing Destiny 1, and its stupid.
How Bungie think its ok to enable that sort of play after trying to combat it because of peoples complaining for 3 years is far beyond my comprehension.
I absolutely hope there is an incoming change to the special ammo economy for PVP ONLY.
Bear in mind, this is not hate. But instead criticism.

This is funny. Not the Topic but the responses I've seen to these topics since 2.0.0.0 released. There has been a total 180 when it comes to Crucible feedback. The D1 Veterans hated 4v4 and the team base aspect of a game that has been there since its inception. So they resurrected 6v6 and instead of making 4v4 a separate playlist they scrap it all together(excluding Comp which no one wants to play). They so called "increased"(it wasn't an increase unless you land all your Precision shots. The nerfed and buffed damage.) the TTK to curb Team shooting, and there still is team shooting. Bungie will never win at this. They will always have 2 player bases when it comes to crucible, because of their decision making.

Madman Asunderにより編集済み: 9/3/2018 4:53:52 PMAt first I was in agreement with this mentality... but honestly TTK has come down enough that hand cannons flat out can out-perform a shotgunner that isn't playing smart. Snipers are a bigger problem as its an instant kill from any range in the right hands... but this ammo economy kind of keeps them in check. it makes sure they have to be moving to an extent. I started out hating it and was rolling around with a pulse shotty. I was doing fine. probably right at 1.0 kd if I had to guess. but the game started feeling very one dimensional. I finally gave it a shot and rocked a two primary loadout again (better devils, polaris lance) and oh my god I am loving this right now. It took quite awhile for me to get a feel for it. but right now I am outplaying shotgunners with the better devils and some intentional spacing and I am getting crispy 3 headshot kills with the lance (and every once in awhile I get a power shot :D). I don't like D1's weapon system personally. but after discovering that what I love about D2's weapon system is not only still available, but actually still viable. I changed my tune. I'm happy with the current sandbox. We will see how it plays out over time. Also: the feeling I get when a shotgunner apes me... but I give them no ammo... glorious. Don't change that Bungie!!! EDIT: Please give me some legendary shotty and snipe power weapons Bungie. thanks.
