Hawkmoon: The Return, a game of balance and power

With the new balance changes and return of exotics actually feeling exotic (or at least powerful), I wanted to touch upon a fan favorite, and the poster child exotic handcannon for the original Destiny, Hawkmmon, and how it could return to Destiny 2. If you're a Destiny veteran on PlayStation (sorry XBox) like myself, you'll no doubt be very familiar with Hawkmoon; the quintessential exotic handcannon that held a whopping 3 2x damage bullets that, on exceedingly rare occasion, two of which could combine into one, completely devastating 1 shot, quad damage round inside the Crucible. While it did go to be nerfed quite heavily throughout Destiny 1, it still retained it's allure. It was one of the few original exotics that remained a must have up until Destiny 2 released. While Sturm and Drang are a great pair of weapons, Hawkmoon they are not. They lack the beauty and grace, and terrifying presence of that sharp metallic snap Hawkmoon cracks out with every shot. And with the lack of any weapon featuring Luck in the Chamber, it would be a great time to reintroduce it. Hawkmoon should retain most of it's stats from Destiny 1; medium-high range, medium-high stability, high magazine capacity (13), and medium recoil. 150 RPM makes it a 4 shot against 5 resilience Guardians within the Crucible, 3 if you get a lucky bullet, 2 if you get two lucky bullets back to back. The mythical 1 shot should be incorporated into a rapid precision damage perk akin to Triple Tap where repeatedly landing precision hits fills up a meter where two lucky rounds stack onto one another, visible by a glowing gauge on the side of the weapon where the iconic feather sits. The one shot lucky bullet will only last for 7 seconds, is not affected by reloading, but does decay over time (if you're not landing precision hits), and small chunks are lost on death. It is still achievable to players with less than average skill (because everyone should be able to experience it at least once), however, high skill players should be rewarded for high skill play, and should see it rewarded more often. So long as their aim remains true. As far as a catalyst is concerned, perhaps a slight bump to stability, and maybe Outlaw. Outlaw would be great on the PvE side, but probably won't be too broken in PvP. Hawkmoon's base reload is already decent. As always, if you liked this idea/theory craft, let me know. If you hated it and think I'm trash, that's also an option. If you have any suggestions/changes/concerns, feel free to voice them.
