Anyone know if we're working on every step simultaneously, or one at a time. Some seem obvious, like the rank reset, but are we working on the 25 games/pulse/solar kills (for example) at the same time?

I could certainly be wrong, but my gut says only about 8-9,000 people will get the broadsword. Not complaining, just stating that it seems like a serious grind most people won’t have time for. And the people most likely to have the patience to play this much PVP probably already have it. I play Destiny daily, but even with this draught of content, I still sink most of my time into PVE. Between that and the new hybrid mode, definitely won’t have the time to reset 5 times...

It takes 20 matches or less for most steps. Valor resets take about 10 hours each. Someone who doesn’t grind could probably finish the quest in under 3 weeks. Also the reason such a low amount of players got Claymore is it required semi consistent wins and was in a mode that players disliked because of no radar. I wouldn’t be surprised if 10 times as many people have broadsword in 2 months.

Last night completely changed my view on this grind. I’m usually solo queue, where no one works together and it always feels like 1v6, and although I hold my own most games are usually lost. I joined my first 6 man crucible team last night and we won 15 out of 16 games and I reset 1.5 times. I think that must be where the disparity come from in how people are viewing this grind. It’s definitely in reach when you play with others
