Come on, 5 valor resets?? Lol. So the goal is to create a new weapon that everyone who didn't pay for the Claymore will want; and you want more than a measly 9,000 self-entitled sweaties to be able to use? The problem is that no one forced to complete the tedious quest line will even get to use this weapon til say 3/4 the way into season 4 or the next PVP quest weapon renders it irrelevant. Reset 5 times huh... Seems like overkill. The only players that are salty are the ones who paid for an account recovery for the Claymore. It's obvious. If I paid between $300-$600 for a virtual weapon that has no real world value whatsoever, I'd be pissed about this too. Don't worry though. By the time the rest of us get the Broadsword, you will already have Luna's Howl, you'll have several random rolled Broadswords from engrams and you'll still have your shitty Claymore. Stop crying. Take comfort in knowing that no one, I mean NO ONE ever looked at your Claymore and thought to themselves... "I wish I was that guy, look at all he achieved, he must be amazing in Crucible!" (Whacking off emoji)

I have the Redrix I did not pay for a recovery - I earned it by playing with linkminded players determined to get it! It took around three weeks of midweek play - weekends are for trials! ;) I am not that good at crucible (currently 1.54 kda according to the 'Fight Forever' emblem) Only after I was 1st in clan to get the gun did other clan mates wake up and realise it was possible! Since then several others have the gun and one is just a few points away - come on Christian!!! I beleive many more people could have got this if they tried but they were too busy raiding! If I had paid for a recovery I would be pissed but I didn't so I am not. The new quest seems fair as long as it does not get watered down with double/triple point weekends! I will still have this gun as a trophy, I'll get an emblem to honour my effort & another new gun for free! The grind should be real - I dont have all the raid gear yet - why should getting this gun be easier?

That’s great u guys went out and grinded your asses off but it sounds like u didn’t get to experience any other content, not that it was worth playing or anything. But still, wouldn’t u rather have been able to play both PVP and PVE content?? I really don’t think u should be forced to choose one or the other to focus on just for a meteocre weapon. There’s a fine line there somewhere between a worthy grind and a completely unnecessary grind. U gotta draw that line somewhere. After all, we paid for a whole game, not just a part of it.

I got my redrix, 40 ish EP completions, 10+ raid completions, full IB gear, level 50 with DO and FWC all this season. Point being claymore didn’t take that long, plenty of time for other things (and I havnt really played this last month...maybe more)

Thanks! The point I'm making is that it was a lot easier with a group. When you raid you have a fireteam of people working together to acheive an objective to gain access to great end game quality loot. Why should end game loot in crucible be any different? Find a fireteam of people that want the gun and you will get it. Did you get everything from the raid in one week? All the weapons, all the armour? I doubht it! I could have elected to share my activity between raiding and crucible but it would have doubled the time taken to get the gun - and I really wanted the gun! Probably an equal amount of effort to obtain all the best loot from the raid as there was to get the Redrix. You describe the Redrix as mediocre - I would disagree. You might argue that Vigilance or Graviton are superior and I would say sure, most of the time but when you get 'desperado' everyone else needs to run! It really does destroy and it puts a big smile on your face that is well worth the effort of the grind. Whould I use it in trials? No. But in 6v6 quickplay its insane. My best 'shredding' was 5 opposing team members in about 4 seconds! FUN, FUN, FUN!

Guys not as many of those 9000 ppl payed as you may think. Why is it always the below average players who play the acct recoveries? But my friends and I who are pretty good never seem to come across these same people? Because everytime a bad player loses he blames everyone but his own skills. "When I lose I just say well I got outplayed" My entire grind to my claymore I not once played an Acct. Recov. And I was only lag switched once. ONCE!!! Out of maybe a hundred games. Smh P.S Watch some bottom feeder comment saying he only plays GODS, 4 stacks, acct recovs, and Ddos'ers. No you don't bud, you play another normal person like yourself but he so happens to be better than you.

I've been playing this game since Y1 and it's yet to come the day that I will envy anything that other players achieved. I mean, why the f*ck should I care about it? It's only a f*cking game. I believe that only immature spoiled brats can ever believe that anyone will venerate them just because they got a special item in a game. And yes, there's a little too much of those brats in this game. Ignoring them is the key to make them disappear.

I hope you know that it tracks all the step progression even if you’re not at that step. This 3x valor weekend that’s going on made me prestige 2x so I’m pretty sure that throughout the season a lot of people will be getting this weapon, and for your dumbass that doesn’t want to grind, it’s not bungie’s fault, everyone asked for new and different grinds and you just got another one bud.

Demon_XXVIIにより編集済み: 8/18/2018 3:21:54 PMHaha, anyone who pays for account recoveries, emblems, & $$$/£££ for the Redrix is a fool that deserves to be pissed off! The % that achieved it all through grind, gunplay and perseverance (that should receive the super rare emblem for doing so) are being cheated out of the kudos - by those that pay someone!
-
If you need to pay someone to get this gun for you, you are probably not good enough to get the desparado perk to work for you anyway. You paid for a gun you will never use! It takes patience to get the most out of this gun but in the hands of a reasonably skilled player it really is a rewarding experience!!

Btw I didn’t grind for the Claymore bc every friend I have that earned it like u, said it was kind of shitty. So I chose to do other things. It wasn’t bc I couldn’t grind for it, it’s bc I knew it wasn’t worth it.

Silent Syzygyにより編集済み: 8/18/2018 4:51:20 PMI’m pretty meteocre yeah. Lol. My KD, not KDA, is sitting at 1.34. My tits are currently chill as a cucumber. Congrats on earning Claymore btw. I’m perfectly fine with the grind, as long as it’s realistic. I played a lot of quick play this season and I still don’t think 5 resets is a realistically achievable goal within one season. You have nothing to worry about though right, you’ll have both the Claymore and several random rolled Broadswords before any of us PVP scrubs get it.

I don't know about you but I am an ok PVP player in Crucible and I spent a lot of time in quick play this last season trying to better myself and I was only able to reset my valor rank 1 time over the course of the season. I know I am partially to blame of course but damn! I seriously cannot imagine resetting 5 times.
-
I've reset 5 times before the extra xp sesiions that we have going on now. Also reset twice on my alt account. This isn't that much of a grind, but it requires you to play pvp on a concistent level throughout the season. Or you can say that the gun isn't worth it for you. Kind off like I'm saying about the raid weapons.
