Hey all,
Yesterday, we announced the goal of removing time pressure associated with Glory ranks, and that Pinnacle Crucible rewards will be awarded via quests starting in Season 4.

Defeat 150 opponents with precision final blows from any Pulse Rifle.
This ain't my first rodeo cowboy!
Step 5: • In the Crucible, defeat 50 opponents with Arc final blows • In the Crucible, defeat 50 opponents with Solar final blows • In the Crucible, defeat 50 opponents with Void final blows
Didn't even need to try!
Step 6: • Complete 25 Crucible matches in Quickplay (Rotators count) • Complete 25 Crucible matches in Competitive • Complete 25 Crucible matches in Rumble
Puh-lease
Step 7: • Complete 20 Crucible Bounties
You kidding me!?
Step 9: • Visit Lord Shaxx and claim your reward.
I am sick and tired of Bungie making these quest steps impossible to complete. Some of us have lives! Why did you make the hardest step the last one! Cancel Bungie!

Why are you guys trying to burn this Community out? Is that your goal for this game? Try to see how quickly you can make us all stop playing due to unnecessarily long and boring grinding? If I wanted to play a game that requires me to grind, I'd play Xenoblade Chronicles 2 or Octopath Traveler.

This isn't a quest. It covers more content and will take more time to do than playing through the entire game and all of the year 1 DLCs. It's manipulation through peer pressure at it's lowest.

longevityにより編集済み: 8/19/2018 8:44:16 AMye gods that reward isn't REMOTELY worth the grind. Was already beyond excessive and then valor reset FIVE times as well? thats one of the worst grinds I've ever seen, and limited to one season? Do the devs have ANY comprehension of players not spending all their free time on this game alone? Jeez, I split time between Destiny and 20 other games, if not more. designers are losing the big picture...

I've got a raging chub thanks deej.

This really isn’t going to be that hard. Just play regularly and it will be completed

This clearly is a weapon for those hardcore crucible players. Personally I think the quest line for anyone with any responsibility to is not achievable and it’s yet another thing bungie have put out of reach. If I was going to do this I wouldn’t be doing the campaign, raid or any other end game activity and tbh that isn’t going to happen crucible isn’t at its best when match making doesn’t work for solo players or is challenging for teams when they are put against solo players. That’s my grumble over but seriously is this even an exotic? No so is it with the grind no. How often are you going to use this weapon in your load out? I’m guessing not very and who is going to know you’ve got it? That person you kill in crucible who is probably getting to forget the moment they spawn and kill you with a better weapon or a bow. This weapon is a joke. The fact that bungie is adding quests in for the demographic of crucible players is great no one should be left out but the quest out ways the reward. The weapon isn’t worth it unless you get an emblem, ghost ornament and perhaps the horn that’s missing from Shaxx helmet lol

Not sure this has been answered but will Gambit count towards any of these steps?

I'll try and get it, whereas I didn't even bother with this season's redrix. I do not generally do competitive. I play a bit of quick play and so maybe some of these new options might work out for me. I'll give the 25 games of competitive a go, as I'll have to. If it sucks, it sucks. If not, I'll not end up with a weapon. I'll not cry. I'll not get upset. I'll be too busy with the awesome looking gambit. Cough. I hope. Then, I'll go to sleep and won't need to get over not getting a p-choom, p-choom. We've been assured of a load of "sweet, sweet loot..." Now, have I heard that somewhere before...
we announced the goal of removing time pressure associated with Glory ranks,

H 8:• Reset your Valor rank 5 times within a single season
So you mean, you changed it to "time pressure associated with valor rank"? I have no problem making a lengthy demanding quest to get a specific weapon which possession says "you are someone who plays a lot of crucible". But at least have the decency to acknowledge it is time consuming. And out of curiosity, how many people did reset valor rank 5 times this season? or even just 3 times?
-
The question is will all these steps be unlocked at the same time? Or will step 2 unlock only after completing step 1 and so on?
-
Broadsword should be an exotic. Not a legendary weapon. This move was a slap in the face to everyone that pursued claymore
-
So if I were to say get 30 arc kills while still on step 2, once I reach that step will my arc kills be there or start from scratch .?

You guys are MISSING THE POINT HERE PEEPS..... It's not about which has the more difficult quest line. It's about the exclusivity of owning the gun in the first place and what it took to obtain it. It's more than just a gun, its a symbol. It symbolizes the complete transformation of ones PVP game from average to PFL (pretty fukin legit). Had Bungie told us this gun and its exclusive set of perks would be re-released in year 2, most of us wouldn't have made that grind.

Why wouldn't all quest steps be active at once? We can only start to grind for the 5 valor ranks after we do steps 1-7? Really? Don't understand that at all
