Strike Catalysts still not dropping at all...
Hello, I was just wondering if anyone else is having trouble acquiring a single strike catalyst? I have all of the crucible ones however which seem to be a much higher drop rate. So basically, I just don't understand this idea to keep the strike rates insanely low.

They do exist but the drop rate is crap and just like crucible d1 the shit player in the fire team gets all the good stuff. Carried a teammate through the NF this week for him to get the Merciless catalyst. Still salty for him getting it for 60 kills compared to my 160 kills. Wtf -blam!- you rng

They drop they are just rare - how many Nightfalls/Strikes have you done? I used to average around 1 Catalyst every 100 Prestige Nightfalls, keep grinding, the only 2 you need are Risk Runner and Wardcliff you may get lucky.

11 通の返信Ive gotten crimson, sturm, wardcliff, merciless and tractor cannon to all drop, this is not including the crucible ones. Also have the vwing, and jade rabbit to drop. Your luck just happens to suck.

I finally got the last of them a few weeks back, and while it was a beast of a grind (I got more from heroic strikes than from prestige nightfalls, strangely enough), it definitely felt way more rewarding when they did drop. Just my opinion, but personally, I enjoy the grind.

Strike Catalysts are the only ones I’m having difficulty acquiring. As in I don’t have any. Been using three of coins and Fireteam medallions on all types of strikes. Just bad RNG, which is dumb. I really like the system they set up with the EP weapons where your chances increased after each completion. Think the catalysts should do the same.

You would think that after resetting twice in crucible valor i would have gotten at least one of the catalysts, but nope. I also dislike how they are solely linked to specific activities. A much better system would be that all are obtainable by doing everything, however certain activities increase your chances of obtaining certain catalysts. This current system is just kind of nonsense. Also have done enough strikes to get rank 50 and then some and havent seen a single strike catalyst. I have every catalyst except for the strike and crucible ones, no idea as to why they take the most to actually drop in contrast to every other one in the game.

Not sure if it's true or not, but I've heard 3 of coins helps, in some cases they're as effective for strike catalysts as they were in D1 for exotics. But as I said first, I don't know if they just were lucky or 3oc actually helps.
