Not really. You apparently have no idea how a bell curve works. Those at the extremes are not treated fairly at all. Those at either end of the distribution never face equal competition because there simply aren’t enough of them. The really good players never face a challenge and those at the bottom never face a fair fight. Allowing premade fireteams to enter the queue only exaggerates the issue because higher skill players tend to team up. They don’t have to coordinate or communicate to have an unfair advantage because now instead if facing a good mix of skill levels on both teams one is unbalanced in favor of skilled players. Those in the middle don’t notice the disparity because they actually do get the even mix of skills in their matches other than encountering those stacked teams. In fact that’s why that’s the big complaint right now. Bad players have quit. We have no reason to put ourselves in an abusive situation. Since we don’t play we’ve largely stopped complaining but those in the middle have fewer people to pubstomp and have to deal with those balance breaking teams. Their experience is starting to suck too. It’s a cascade effect and it’s going to be fun to watch.
