From the other perspective. I enjoy not having to sweat my face off every time I just want to play with quick play with my friends. I can just play fun matches. I shouldn’t be punished for being an above average player.

News flash... that means you're not above average .... you're average and in a field of non players you think you have skill... Just check the ego at the door. Your KD chart lacks trended consistency which speaks more to poor matchmaking than skill... *your stats are available on line Cheers

But playing the top 10% isn’t easy, you just wouldn’t know because you’ve never done it. Sometimes I want to chill. Especially coming from someone who is a well below average player. You’re bronze tier for everything, all you do is lose. Check your own ego at the door and get out of this chat.

You’re either a child or incompetent because you’re essentially linking me to an “A report card” and saying the rest of the class is doing better. Bless your heart, OK dude hold to what ever idea of yourself you need too... your bag not mine... just saying stats have your KD just over 1 and history (not good)... not world crushing and not sure that's even average. Could be considered above average with recent matchmaking bug... so congrats?.. Myself I would prefer a level playing field even in a casual game... not picking a fight man just trying to give you a little perspective... Just chill and realize there is an issue with the game and you can find better value in yourself elsewhere. This is not a good measure of skill and your argument... maybe you should study your stats more... not saying you can't be great just right now you are above average.. Cheers

A KD of a 1.5 before the change was top 4.5% (these are my stats when I played with SBM and would run into stacked teams of 2.0’s when trying to play with my friends who are negative. Now I’m averaging a 3.5 in my last 25 games which is not representative yes, but doesn’t change the point that I was still top 4.5% before this. Am I a crucible god and clutch king? Absolutely not. Am I above average or even top 10%? Absolutely I am, statistically there is no debate and the data is right there. You’re a 1.17overall (top 20% and above normal yourself) and only dropping a 1.01 the last 25 games (playing against the open field), which tells me you’re either getting worse or you only did someone decent playing against horrible players. If I was a average or below average player my stats would go down like yours did, but now I’m playing significantly above my stats which proves I played and held my own in SBM and this is even easier. You are not going far in life if you’re going to pick fights on things you have no conception of. Especially when I made a statement saying I wanted to just have fun in a video game.

.. OK dude... how about look at your competitive stat vs your QP.. Also check what the top stats are in both... I get it you have put a lot of personal value in you concept that your good at this game.... again your bag not fighting you just giving you perspective... perhaps this is not something you have the capacity to discuss... Sooo cheers good luck to you and remember you stats in being a decent human will always matter more than a skewed KD.. ;-)

Once again, I just think it’s funny how immature or uncertain of yourself you are to be a real man and admit you were wrong and out of place. You’ll figure it out one day kiddo. I commented casually and you had to get all smart when you were completely wrong and your stats are completely garbage compared to mine. Lolol, keep trying to insult my stats because it just reaffirms how horrible that makes you.

Bless it, it's higher in QP now as in since the unfair matchmaking and the bait to force non players in with the MOT... again not that good and on the whole you got worse... Look I don't care, I am somewhat entertained with your ego and glaring ability to ignore hard facts... But with that said I wish you the beat of luck.... know that you would not have fought so hard had you really believed you were as good as you think. Truth is you know you are not that good so just enjoy the current system. You have won a lottery of a sorts... so congrats Cheers, it's been fun...

So playing against equal competition is punishment for you but it’s not punishment for others to play every match against people well out of their league? Maybe get a sense of perspective to go with that entitlement.

Not really. You apparently have no idea how a bell curve works. Those at the extremes are not treated fairly at all. Those at either end of the distribution never face equal competition because there simply aren’t enough of them. The really good players never face a challenge and those at the bottom never face a fair fight. Allowing premade fireteams to enter the queue only exaggerates the issue because higher skill players tend to team up. They don’t have to coordinate or communicate to have an unfair advantage because now instead if facing a good mix of skill levels on both teams one is unbalanced in favor of skilled players. Those in the middle don’t notice the disparity because they actually do get the even mix of skills in their matches other than encountering those stacked teams. In fact that’s why that’s the big complaint right now. Bad players have quit. We have no reason to put ourselves in an abusive situation. Since we don’t play we’ve largely stopped complaining but those in the middle have fewer people to pubstomp and have to deal with those balance breaking teams. Their experience is starting to suck too. It’s a cascade effect and it’s going to be fun to watch.

That just doesn't make sense. How is it unfair for you to play against your skill level like everyone else? So just to get this straight, you feel like you are being "punished" by having the same level of opponent, and you think the fix is to let you wipe the floor with the majority of people far below your skill level? Since you are above average, that would mean that the above average player's fun takes precedence over the larger group that now do not have fun. Silly argument.

Trouble is might be fun you, not fun for the losing side that gets wiped. Played 9 matches yesterday on 2 characters. Had one match, where we lost that was decent. Trailed 10 points the whole match and ok with that. A second losing match, connections so bad, my whole team quit the match. Just couldn't kill the other side as took too long to get a kill compared to their connections. Rest of 6 winning matches, lopsided between 40 to 80 point difference, mostly toward the later. Might have been even worse in two of the capture matches. Quite boring to play. At this point, it's just play for milestone.

I believe you’re looking for equality of outcome as opposed to equality of opportunity. Equality of outcome forces a certain measure of inequality among individuals and really isn’t a fair practice. SBMM forces good and bad outcomes based on 50/50 win rates and skill while if we had pure CBMM the results are random and dictated by individual performance without weighing skill. This is, of course, related to Bungies SBMM. Honestly, I like this Bug because it is sometimes challenging sometimes and fun Care-free like 70% of the time. When I’m facing a good team I can decide to try rather than being forced to sweat every game.
