Escalation Protocol and a few ideas on changes.

A hard fought fight is not one that a player fights alone in. I get that. What I don’t seem to get is the fact that even with a stacked 3 man fireteam and one or two ransoms in the area, the event is still almost impossible. I like that the event/endgame content is difficult and requires a team unlike some of the public events. What I having a hard time grasping is the escalation from endgame to pulling my hair out attempting to get past the second level after passing the first with absolutely no problems and the hitting a brick wall. I think either the amount of levels needed to bring out the gold should be lowered or the overall scaling needs a few tweaks to further polish this endgame feature into something that other players would love to tackle on a regular basis. It’s great, but getting to the weapons and the armor is a bit more than I think most of the community has bargained for. It is definitely one of the better endgame contents I have seen to date, right next to the court of oryx and the the siva thing in the first destiny. On another note, a currency system from the event to allow players to acquire the items might benefit the game in some manner like you did with Benedict for the raids is another option as well. Just a few suggestions. If you have problems with this or just want to call me one of the whiners, I suggest you just skip this article and don’t reply with hateful words. Have a nice day. Edit: another few ideas here. The first on how to tweak this event is to instead of making it a triggered event, set it to be a timed occurrence on the map local. Players can take a look at the map to keep up to date on when and which region of helas basin the EP event activated at. The next idea is to make EP separate lobby and matchmaking. This will guarantee that lobbies of player seeking to participate and complete the event/endgame content can do so with less hassle. The last idea is less conventional and also stress by someone else in D1. Six man patrols. Having six players participate in a premade squad often time reduces the complexity and difficulty of most events. I may think of more ideas as I go, but this is what I have thus far. Ideas, thoughts? Edit 2: feels as though the bosses have more than a raid level worth of Health to chip off. If this could be lowered a bit that might be another way to rebalance the activity.
