Valor receives a losing streak? I've played valor, and I get points when I lost. I'm a competitive player. Some points are better than losing them from my stand point.

No, I’m referring to the winning streak. If you lose a game, you receive 10 points. Just going from rank 2 to 3 requires 350 points. See the problem? That only exponentially increases for each rank, too, so if I really wanted that ghost shell, and it takes 2000 just to reset once, that means a player who loses every game due to garbage teammates would have to suffer through 400 crucible matches AT LEAST, because losing due to the mercy rule awards 0 points. It’s frustrating, brutal, and absolutely unfair to anybody playing solo. It wouldn’t even be so bad if they just implement a team matchup rule, where if there’s a 2,3,4 man team, the enemy team MUST have a team of matching numbers, to make each match fair.

See, I'm a competitive player. Zero, is better than negative. I can't empathize. I also don't think that anyone, anywhere should be rewarded anything for loss. Why should you get something for losing? You aren't losing anything. It doesn't hurt you(like in competitive). Try it out. Give glory a run. You will have a whole new appreciation for valor.

Darkhero57により編集済み: 7/26/2018 8:23:38 AMI’m planning on playing Competitive a bit, just haven’t got around to it. If you haven’t played Quickplay lately though, you have no ground to talk. 😂 Making it 6v6 was absolutely horrible in a game where every map is built for 4v4. I had a streak of 4 respawns earlier where I was immediately headshot with a sniper before I was even able to move, and trying to carry 5 potatoes instead of 3 is so much more difficult. I played Comp a bit back at launch, and lemme tell you, NOTHING is as bad as getting trashed by a 6 man Mida team who run around the map together and can kill 3 people before you even get 1. The imbalance is absolutely ridiculous, and while I feel for Comp players losing Glory points, nothing will ever be as frustrating as spawning in the middle of 4 enemies because the game recognized 1 dude was at A, 1 was at B, so you MUST spawn at C, even though that’s the enemy spawn

Careful what you wish for is all I have to say. The grass isn't greener on the other side. You will run into the same having to carry issue, but there is no mercy, and there is consequence. Glory players know everything valor ones do, and then some. Trust me

Don’t get me wrong, I do like the Crucible, I just think it’s in a horrible state right now. It feels extremely punishing, especially since the entire PvP model for this game was “Good teams win games and a single guardian shouldn’t be able to stand up to more than 2 people”, and we see the supreme reign of guns like the MIDA and Graviton with no sign of change (although I’m sure that’s even worse in Comp). I love 6v6, just wish they would fix balancing issues that people have been complaining about since launch day. I also love Countdown, it’s one of my favorite game modes they’ve ever made, and I’m partial to Survival, although that one is where I’m sure I’ll feel the weight of carrying idiots the most. I think Valor and Glory were both pretty cheap moves to inject the tiniest bit of substance into Crucible, and neither one was tested or implemented well. D1 had a great Crucible model by the end, where you had games that could reward you high power gear, legendary currency, and loot boxes; bounties to do, Weekly bounties with Nightfall tier rewards, and Three of Coins to help farm Exotics, but this game lacks all depth. The only reason I haven’t dipped my toes into Comp yet is because there’s essentially no real reward for playing, outside of Redrix, which I care absolutely zero about, it being a pulse rifle and all 😂

Did last night. It's a nice warm up for sure. Bit the maps aren't built for 6v6. But I like that. I tell valor player not to interject I to glory talks. I play both. Just glory more. I like the challenge, when there is one
