So last time I've touched this game was october of 2017. Saw forsaken trailer the other day and god damn was I so happy about everything surrounding it. Random rolls, more serious story, armor perks, amazing weapon slot changes, new enemies, a proper new raid with a return to bosses i.e the taken king, new subclasses, etc. I delved into YouTube researching all known information regarding forsaken and suspected lore theories. But then... I found out that you must have both previous DLC to even think about buying the forsaken DLC, THEN this annual pass nonsense for all small content post forsaken. So that means if I was to get forsaken and want to play destiny post expansion like I did in destiny 1, I have to pay $35 for the season pass, $40 for forsaken, and $30 for the annual pass for a grand total of $105 dollars. Thank you bungie. After everything you've gotten wrong with this game, after all the scummy lying and decieving you've done with this game you do this? Never has a company built my hopes up and then shatter it completely so quickly. I think I'm going to annually pass on bungie products from here on out. I'm done.

Grzzld-Gamerにより編集済み: 7/18/2018 5:20:59 PMIf price/cost is an issue, just wait. I waited & got D2 & all the dlcs for $29.99 in June 2018. (actually $39.99 but used $10 Bing points towards it) Loving this game too despite what you read on these forums. I preordered the Forsaken by cashing in my Bing search points (you can get an Xbox gift card code) & it'll cost me $29.99 in real money to make up the difference. So I spent just under $60 for ALL of D2. There's lots of ways to get into the gaming hobby, and Destiny especially, where you can spend very little real cash. I used to buy the collectors editions for all the xbox games I wanted and sell all the extras and keep the game. Many, many, many times I'd MAKE money and have the game essentially for free!

Pliekaceにより編集済み: 7/18/2018 7:18:54 AMTheres probably gonna be a big bundle pass that has everything for a bargain price like how they did with the Taken King. Probably not the annual pass tho, but it's still basically 10$ per Warmind/House of Wolves sized expansion

Says he’s been gone this whole time just to hate on the game and says he leaving. I think we should give him all our attention.

All of this is in US dollars. The expansions for $35 dollars like you already put. $40 for forsaken. The annual pass are for the things coming AFTER forsaken in D2 Y2, it is not required to play forsaken. So you're looking at $75-80 to play forsaken if you don't have the previous expansions.

Bungies main goal is to fullfill their contract with Activision. They don't want to loose their IP to Activision. We customers are only sheep to fleece now. Bungie will play any trick on us to generate the maximum amount of profit. Prepare for more Everworse timegated content, xp buffs and more pay2win engramm boosts.

You say you‘ve been „out the loop“, and even though you didn‘t lie by saying that you didn‘t touch this game since October (unless there‘s a way to manipulate that it‘s pretty impressive), you still hung around the forums, and there‘s no chance in hell that you had no idea about the game anymore.

Darth Lunchboxにより編集済み: 7/17/2018 3:30:22 PMUm, did you expect different, It's the exact same way D1 worked as well. You don't get the older content for free just cause you're joining in now. We payed for it, you have to pay for it. Besides if they follow pattern, there will be a discounted package right before the release of Forsaken.

I don't get it, you jump out and don't buy the expansions then want to jump back in at the same point that the people who did. Why? Why should you access content we all paid for for free. Just because I pay to watch the latest avengers movie doesn't mean that they are going to stand there with a pile of DVD for free. You want in then you pay the same as the rest of us, you cant just bypass the content we bought and get it all for free.

A fair few people will scoff at you for only wanting to buy Forsaken, but what you’ve said is really how a lot of people who bought only D2 and quit shortly thereafter feel. I think it’s absurdly dumb to force people to buy the Season Pass just to play Forsaken. IMO, you should only need D2 + Forsaken and that’s it.
