I know you are, but people have to accept that others have a low tolerance for things we might be willing to power through. If someone says, "It takes too long," there's no point in trying to convince him otherwise. What's too long for him mayn't be for us, or he may not have access to groups we're used to running with. If he doesn't like LFG on third party sites (and quite a number of people don't), cool beans.
Honestly, the browbeating on these boards grows tiresome. Who cares why people don't do it? Leave them to their devices...even if they complain about not being able to do it.
Optional matchmaking isn't dumbing anything down. The raid is still the raid. If people acknowledge that they will spend a lot of time in matchmade raids because they will likely have to deal with a lot of newbies and probably general noobishness, then have it.
Khalith is saying there's no time to do it on that basis, so it's a no-go anyway.
Some version of this conversation happens all the time on these boards:
I can't do the raid.
Yes, you can.
I don't have the time.
Yes, you do.
I don't have a group.
You can do XYZ to get a group.
I don't like people.
Get over it.
I can't.
Don't complain because your [sic] lazy.
I don't care.
filthy casual.
