So like every Destiny fan, my heart is currently shattered into pieces after seeing my favorite character's light fade away from his lifeless body. I was trying to figure out a way to maybe reboot him, bring him back, make us feel as we [i]can[/i] do something about it. Sure, kill him, use his death as a cash grab, as a hook for players to buy the DLC eager to know what happens next, but let us do something to make us feel like we put effort into bringing a legend back to life. I had an idea, that if he dies, we somehow reboot him into Cayde-7. Yes, I understand that it might not be him, his memory would be wiped or whatever, but what if we have some sort of way to find memory fragments to recover his old self. I don't know, something to bring back the greatest character destiny has ever had. I'm not asking to make it an easy job, like when we lost our light and got it back the next mission effortlessly. Make that shit difficult, make it so when we actually achieve it, we truly feel the impact of saving a life. I don't care how many strike bosses I've defeated, how many high-value targets I've killed, how many raids, how many GODS I've slayed to protect the city, it would feel extremely disappointing knowing there was nothing I could do to save him.
