Masterworks should always grant magazine as a bonus.

And I don't mean it should start off rolled with it, because that would suck. What I want is for masterworks to grant legendaries an improvement to magazine as a bonus to whatever else it comes rolled with. I have quite a few 140 rpm handcannons that I adore, but I absolutely hate their magazine of only 9. I always roll mag just to give it that one extra bullet because it just feels necessary. If I didn't weirdly feel like I had to have it, I would probably use a different stat bonus like reload. In fact, a lot of handcannons feel like they suffer from a lack of magazine and I would appreciate the change. Thanks for reading if you did.

  • Rather have increased reserve ammo as standard on all MW power weapons instead. I consider magazine increases through Masterworks basically pointless on auto loaders. Most drop mag guns are very close to that level of pointlessness as well. However, I'd be in love with a magazine increase on masterworked Sunshot. What masterworks should be in PVE: Masterwork guns with kill clip should have exactly what it says. A kill clip. Which means the entire clip, no matter how long it takes to empty it. Rampage masterworks should be on the same perk timer, but instead of dropping 3x stacks immediately, it should drop 1 stack at a time every 5-6 seconds. Any gun with bottom half that is MW'd should have the percentage damage increases doubled. Even then, it would still be garbage but a step in the right direction. Or, as a completely new alternative, the bottom half of the magazine fires faster, because the spring isn't under as much of a load...lol Any MW gun with Zen moment should have the duration increased 4x. Bungie will then continue to put it on 150 RPM scouts, where its the least useful application in the game for it. MW guns with outlaw should give a player buff to all reload speeds for 5 seconds when procc'd. Grave robber MW's should give bonus glimmer, or heal a small amount of health (alpha lupi level of healing). Pulse monitor MW should emit a knockback wave when triggered. Because we're all tired of majors and their no talent knockback slams, we should be able to do the same. Stomp? STOMP! Fast ADS MW should give 1 shot, or 3 seconds worth on automatics, of critical hits after switching to the gun and aiming. Quickdraw MW should allow Bob Ross to holographically appear from your ghost and...nevermind.

    For handcannons it feels like it is almost necessary, but for almost every other weapon, it is one of the worst masterworks you can roll on it. Even for autos with about 50 rounds in the mag, you only get about 4-5 extra shots, which seems and feels really pathetic. I agree that masterworks should have a stat boost and a constant mag boost, but for a different reason. I just don't want to spend 3-10 masterwork cores just for a measly 1 extra round and only that on my scout rifle.
