Back when I was sixteen there was this one person from my church who was one of those very devout and weird people. He started to take a liking in me, and wanted to date, but instead of asking me out he goes and asks my dad first! So, my father asks him, "What is your plans for the future?" And he replies, "I will study the Bible and become a preacher, and if you will allow it, I'll date and maybe marry your daughter." My dad then asks, "How will you afford a house without a well paying job?" He replies. "God will provide." My dad asks, "How will you take care of my daughter without a home or money?" (Like I can't take care of myself dad.🙄) and he just replies with "God will provide," again. After my dad's confrontation I asked my dad what he thinks. My dad says, "Well he has a good mindset, his plans for the future might need some changing, and there's one thing I don't agree with." "What is it?" I asked. [spoiler]My dad says, "He thinks I'm God!"[/spoiler]
