Keeping everything is probably best imo. First day of Curse of Osiris I cashed in all my gunsmith materials and on the last engram I got Crimson. Some players aren't happy with getting an exotic that quickly but I was pretty lucky and I also don't mind it if I managed to find every exotic on day 1. Gear isn't the entire reason I stick around on Destiny, don't know why it should be tbh
