Going to do the D2 raid for the first time on Friday night. Anyone got any advice as to who does the best raid video on YouTube ?
Want to try and get ready as best I can. Cheers guys.

All this 'shooting advice' isn't really necessary, there's very little of it. I did it once and got Midnight Coup x 2, Sins of The Past, Inaugural Address, Alone as a God, Ghost Primus, the scout (forget it's name). I see no reason whatsoever to do it again. Poor raid compared to every single D1 raid...but then again I liked Crota and being able to do it by myself...

He has probably one of the best guides out there, and this is coming from someone who Sherpas dozens of raids Merciless, Coldheart, and A cluster rocket launcher are essential. Merciless is best for baths because you can easily kill the bathers and it melts the lamps. It also works wonders In gauntlet for the bosses. Cluster bomb rockets are best for dogs and Calus. If you need help, send me a friend request or message on PSN, I've helped hundreds of new people through the raid

Anyone still running that crap should have it down by now so let them assign you a role and stick to it. It’s not that difficult. Reading a walkthrough is probably better first to get the basics then listen to how your Fireteam does each section. No point memorising a video strat only for your team to have a totally different one.

7 通の返信Firstly be honest if it's your first time. Watch a guide before hand. As long as you're honest about that most groups I've been in are more than willing to help teach you what you need to do. Really as long as you do that you'll do just fine

1 返信The whole point of going in a group is to discover and have a leader drive and explain if needed. Otherwise why go through lfg? Optional matchmaking would allow you to jump into a game right after you watched a beggar explaining how to hold a remote controller. That said don’t worry, this raid is EZAF, no need to press several buttons simultaneously, it’s mainly L and X. Some pressing or holding down L2 and R2 occasionally, but mainly L.

1 返信Datto definitely he even covers what weapons and class loadouts he recommends using for damage and covers each role on the team. However not every team is gona be well coordinated so other guides may fit your team but focus on staying alive first making sure you at least make it to a certain point (like in baths damaging the weights) and doing your role well before trying to hard to cover multiple roles if your team is doing poorly. There is always that one guy who has no clue what they are doing (or at least in my experience) so be patient and make sure they are clearly aware of what they should be doing or try a different strategy if your stuck on a certain part for awhile (like 30 mins or more depends on people's tolerance)

1 返信SlyNationにより編集済み: 4/6/2018 6:15:15 AMI would recommend you watch a couple of different channels. When larger YT'rs beat raids for the first time they often post it as a 'guide', but it's just them beating it for the first time. Also, be sure to filter searches for recent uploads within the past few months. This way you get guides and not just vids of people beating it and labeling it as a guide. I try to make the best guides possible and my channel is known for guides, so check me out if you wish, but be sure to watch a few others as well. This way you get info about all the different ways to beat it and the nuances of each encounter. Good luck my man, and once you beat your first raid, you will be hooked. Just a warning ;)

Complete Raid Guide & Walkthrough!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OzkxpLkEkfE If you're not a Video Watcher person, here is a decent written guide to the Leviathon Raid: https://www.polygon.com/destiny-2-guide-walkthrough/2017/9/21/16345644/leviathan-raid-guide Good luck..

g_DAta2015により編集済み: 4/6/2018 2:08:04 PMIt really all depends on who you are raiding with. If its an experienced group that raids together, then it should be no problem for them to carry you through as you learn things (under 2 hours). If its a bunch of first timers, be prepared to spend a couple of hours learning the encounters. You'll probably not finish it either. As for gear, use what you are comfortable with. Certain weapons like rockets with cluster, merciless and coldheart work well. One more thing.... recovery, recovery, recovery.

4 通の返信I haven't watched any YouTube videos on Raid Guides, but personally I would suggest simply watching several different Raid Guides from known Destiny YouTubers. I can imagine many do explain strategies a different way, and that way you can grasp the general idea on what's going on in each encounter. Furthermore, is your entire team unexperienced? Then remember that you have to find your own strategy with your team mates, and you need lots of patience for that. Utilize the strengths and weaknesses of every player and find the task most suitable for them. If you have Raid experienced Players in the group, listen to them. If they can explain things well and have the patience to stick around, you can learn a lot from them. Tell them what you can and can't do, don't be afraid to admit mistakes. That way you all can figure out what you and the team can do better. And lastly, don't get frustrated. Stay motivated, learn and fight your way through. You got this, Guardian.

Vortex nades during baths, toss it on the spot where bathers rise from when you see their heads. In Gauntlet, if you are on the floor not the pillars, it is real easy to forget you have to punch the Psions. Stay patient with your guides and don't be ashamed to say if you don't understand something. It is way easier and quicker to re-explain something rather than a wipe and possible heavy ammo run. Also one thing for me that really works, I do my best to pack the most ideal weapons but really play with what makes you most comfortable, if possible.

Oh a little tip that I learned more recently (haven't raided in a long time so actually haven't had a chance to try it)- if you're falling behind in the final run of the Gauntlet (exploding before you can reach the next orb), you can put on exotic boots for better sprint speed (each class has one).
