does June die in reach (spoiler if not played campaign yet )
i have finished the campaign in reach and i seem to mis if June dies it never shows or tells you because after you give commander keys cortana it shows Emile get stabbed by the elite and then you go get on the mac cannon and help the piller of atom escape.

As we already Know, Jun was last seen boarding a Pelican to escort Dr. Halsey away from Sword Base to CASTLE Base under orders from Carter-A259. Jun is also the only in-game member of Noble Team recorded as [u] still alive [/u]. Although there is still speculation that Jun was killed. "There are many possibilities as to how he was killed but none have been proven yet." Since his location is unknown he is actually M.I.A, this was most likely done on purpose so that you (the gamer & reader) can decide for your self what really happened to him. However based on the information given its just a blank. In a realistic point of view the likely hood of him being alive is very poor.

He is not mentioned after he is assigned to escort Halsey. The 'updated' First Strike mentions nothing of him, so I just assume he was evaaced after safely escorting Halsey to CASTLE. He's on your Earth, sniping your grunts. The Last of the S-IIIs!

At the end of halo 3 is the portal closed on half of the ship and the halo exploded and chief survived and then cortana sent a distress signal call for help and she said "it could be months before any one finds it maybe even years" end ODST the covenant leader find a space ship cover in all this stuff and then tell them to start cleaning it up end WHat I think is that they found the chiefs ship and Jun is on the planet they found chiefs ship on and then they meet exchange stories and start kicking but together

[/quote] yes sir. and the data they were decrypting at the glacier place is probably forerunner data. anyway, there are 2 stories, the book and the story. the book one goes: halsey left with spartan II blue team and master cheif to onyx(from book first strike), while the game one goes... well anyone who played the campaign knew how it went. furthermore, according to the game, noble team are spartan IIIs but accordint to the book, there were no spartan III deployment on reach as they are on Onyx along with Kurt (inferred from timeline from fall of reach and ghosts of onyx, not directly stated) [Edited on 02.23.2011 10:32 PM PST]

Also at the last cut scene about 50 years later also the same cut scene as the beginning of the game the planet reach is up and running again like nothing happened and BOOOOOOM master chief became a Spartan and he is doing is thang Halo 1 Halo 2 Halo 3 Then the covenant find chiefs half ship at the end of ODST and boom again Halo 4 WITH master chief If u don't know what I'm talkin about go to you tube watch halo 3 and ODST secret endings and you'll find out [Edited on 02.23.2011 10:26 PM PST]

Jun can't die because he escorted Hasley and you don't know he might have gotten a different escort to a different planet and then master chief could've been born and raised on reach and then became a spartan on reach this whole time [Edited on 02.23.2011 10:30 PM PST]

Dang people stop with the books, They weren't even made by freaking bungie or Microsoft, have you noticed how the whole fall of reach in the game is, "completely" different. It is because it was not made by bungie. sure bungie got inspiration from the books, but my best friend whos a worker at 343 industries A.K.A "Microsoft" says that they are working on a new project for... "SPOILER" "Halo 4" in which it will show Master Chiefs face, and jun will be along side with master chief "Jun Is Still Alive" "I Kill the enemy but do not hate them" -Jun
