i have finished the campaign in reach and i seem to mis if June dies it never shows or tells you because after you give commander keys cortana it shows Emile get stabbed by the elite and then you go get on the mac cannon and help the piller of atom escape.
Posted by: schrei9685 Something not put in the last post - The books are not official story, because they were not written by Bungie. And if they are, I didn't know, I'm just using information found in this thread and on this place. If something written in the book is not matching something said in the games' Campaign/story, then I believe the game would take precedence or priority or... some word.
However juns last destination is not stated after he flies off in halsey's pelican therefore they didnt intend on telling that story so that part is true

Bungie said it themselves that Jun did not die. The fact that the creator of the entire series said it should make it law. Doesn't fit the canon? Reach was made after all the other games, so it should be obvious Jun wasnt thought of in Halo:CE. There is no Jun in the first Halo games because he wasnt thought of. I've read that they are remaking the books to reflect Reach's additions to the story. Also, we still dont officially know what planet is in Halo 4. Jun lived (Bungie's word is law, deal with it, or for a more popular term, ADAPT). The story for the Halo series has been altered, so what? It gives more depth to an already existing background. His life or death could be confirmed in the next Halo game(s), so why complain? It's clear that he left with Halsey, it has been said that he lived, so now we just need to ask where he is. They saying that Jorge could have lived is also true. He was transported somewhere on an almost completely intact ship. Remember, he was on the corvette, which had been cleared of enemies by Noble 6, Jorge, and the Marines. He could have lived and continued to drift on that ship. No one knows what happened because that is the last time we see Jorge. Again, if he survived the question is now where he is, and the same goes for Jun. Jun did survive, Jorge had a good chance at surviving, so now we have to ask where they went, because they could both be legitimately MIA. TL;DR - Jun survived and thats a fact set in stone... Game coding... Something... [Edited on 07.01.2011 12:34 AM PDT]
Posted by: TylerPeterson18 Actually the only reason Cortana knows so much is because the forrunners made her. They discovered her in the glacier place.
Lolno. Halsey illegally flash cloned her in 2549, she's a human construct not Forerunner. I can't believe people still think she's Forerunner... -_-
Posted by: ODST SPIDEY007
Posted by: Mister Lemon I cant believe I'm having to address this... Halsey is NOT literally the Spartan II's mom, she's their mother FIGURE. The only kid she has is Commander Miranda Keyes. She did NOT shove dozens of the greatest supersoldiers known to man out of her god damn snatch.
Really inspiring but Commander Keys where did u hear that, if it's a book I don't read halo novels. As for the retards who dream crap up Jun dies
It's stated in Halsey's Journal that she conceived a daughter with Jacob but she was quite distant with Miranda. I would seriously recommend reading the novels. Cryptum, Evolutions, Ghosts of Onyx and the others are beautifully written.
Posted by: JDYeash937 MkII Well, Jun was escorting Halsey. And we know she survived the glassing of Reach because she was in First Strike and Ghosts of Onyx. But Jun is nowhere to be seen in First Strike (obviously) so I think we have to assume that he found transport off-world (where the hell to?), or simply was killed ensuring Halsey made it to CASTLE base.
He died protecting Halsey.

If Jun did not die on Reach he is a complete douchbag, where was he during the Covenant invasion on Earth or the assault on the Ark? If Jun survived then he should be sent to the brig for desertion. I mean Cortana never mentions making contact with Jun and I don't think she wouldn't tell Chief if he wasn't the last SPARTAN alive.
Posted by: Guile1477 Your title is kinda a spoiler, just saying. And they never go into detail about it in-game. Unless there is some super secret legendary, survive for 20 hours in last mission secret ending. Then maybe we can find out.
how is it a spoiler, hes asking a question. thats like asking if mc will die in halo 4
