Endgame needs a system of activities that prepare players for the raid. Story, strikes and public events where players can be carried isn’t enough to get them ready for end game.
A SOLO arena with raid like activities and encounters preparing players on their own for the raid would be a huge step in bringing more players to endgame. Players can get gear and weapons with raid specific perks to help them. A SOLO activity with great raid difficulty!! Once this is completed unlocks a raid matchmaking system that requires a mic and guardians to be above min recommend raid light to join que. This system would really bring more players to the endgame.
The 6 man raid activity should have gear with perks that benefit the next upcoming raid activity. A ladder system for endgame with each raid preparing you for the next adventure. This would give endgame a lasting purpose.
Fight forever guardians!

1 返信Whilst I see what you are saying and like the idea it just doesn't fit in with bungies philosophy.

11 通の返信Why do the raid for gear, if you did this latter thing and got the gear? You are taking one of the rewards from the raid and putting it into raid lite? No need for that, just do the raid. Matchmaking wouldn't work for the raids. If implimented, people would only complain about it being way too hard. So now people would demand it be nerfed till its nothing more than a 6 man strike. No thank you. No matchmaking, Finding a group, and friends is far better, more efficient, and more fun.

10 通の返信I think that making max level possible without doing raids was the biggest mistake bungie made with Destiny 2. I couldn't agree more with the ladder idea, and along with it, I think level progression should be capped outside endgame activities.

2 通の返信Destiny needs the loot system fixed, the weapon system fixed, end game rewards fixed. A whole new "end game hold-your-hand ladder system" is not needed. Clans exist specifically for this reason. Have a little patience, do the research and join a clan that does learning raids. Hell, watch Youtube videos. That would be more useful than doing something solo that is suppose to simulate a raid, because honestly the hump most people have is not skill. The trouble most people have is not being able to just put their ego aside, shut up and do exactly what they are suppose to do, ask or speak up if you aren't sure (maybe the most important thing), and play with confidence. I have gotten tons of raid virgins through them because they were great at following directions and watched a Youtube video or 2. You can't build a raid instance simulator for solo players to prepare them for raiding, to give them a badge of some sort proving they are "raid-ready" because you can't simulate working as a team and communicating with other players, listening, not talking over people, all of that stuff if you are doing a solo arena. There are groups out there, clans out there for people wanting to start raiding. If you think you will just jump in a raid here and there and find the perfect group it won't happen, but if you are committed to doing endgame and learning the raids, join a clan, make it known that you are trying to learn the raids, and get on the weekly C-group or whatever they have. It's not that hard it's just an actual commitment. If you expect to be able to log in and your sensei is ready and waiting for you patiently, on your time and schedule right when you want to raid, then you might have a problem. You have to get a team together, get on the same schedule and mindset and go from there in a social game. The game has everything it needs in order for anyone to be able to raid successfully, but if all you do is go to the LFG forums where people post for groups and the requirement is experience, then yes you will be disappointed because these are people wanting to log in and knock it out in an hour, so put the time in to join a clan, find a few teachers and learn the content in layers.

7 通の返信GrayWulf25により編集済み: 4/3/2018 3:06:52 PMEvery Destiny DLC campaign with associated Raid already prepares players for the raid, via new themed Public Events, missions and quests/bounties For example The Dark Below (TDB) had us seizing Swords from Knights on patrol in Cosmodrome and using the sword to swipe or smash Hive enemies...then Crota House of Wolves had us seizing Scorch Cannons and using them on Patrol against Fallen Captains to prepare us for the Prison of Elders, especially the Skolas end-game encounter (raid equivalent) In TTK we even had a new PvP mode Rift to prepare for all of the slamming relics into Hive Rifts in Kings Fall ROI we were introduced to SIVA Swarms and more Scorch Cannons on patrol to prepare for Wraith of the Machine These are just off the top of my head, but I noticed from TDB onwards, we rehearse raid encounters in the campaign and Public Events via new weapons, objectives and enemies

6 通の返信the words Endgame and Solo should never be put together imo. unless it's "Solo could never be Endgame activities"

2 通の返信This is actually the foundation of a great idea- kudos. Wonder if anyone is listening...

6 通の返信Destiny needs to stop pretending to be an mmo. Bungo says it's not, but it sure is a wannabe...

3 通の返信awesome idea. I always thought the game needed something similar to this while doing sisters on kings fall. I don't know why but i had so many friends who couldn't do the jumping platforms either at all or just not fast enough (I'm sure it was stress/pressure more than anything), and it really sucked because there wasn't really anywhere to practice such an encounter anywhere else in the game and the whole random selection of being torn between dimensions made it a necessity to learn. we usually just had to get lucky and not have any of those people get torn.

11 通の返信Or, just go and play the raid and learn as you go. Raids arent that hard anymore.

1 返信If we get Gear from a previous Raid made for the next one they need to make the completion affect the world in a permanent way. Like more missions and new enemies that result.
