So im having trouble deciding which gun i should use/keep...
(1) Better Devils: Sureshot, Flared magwell, Explosive payload.
(2) Better Devils: Sureshot, Flared magwell, Explosive payload.
While gun 1 looks like a very solid roll, i cant help but think maybe gun 2 is the way to go.. Ive been using gun 1 for a while, but am starting to feel gun 2 might be slightly better because of the Sureshot, Flared magwell, Explosive round combo. Maybe i just keep them both and keep grinding for that Roll i really want which would be Sureshot, Flared magwell and Explosive payload. I doubt ill ever get it though with my RNG luck.
Whats your opinion? Have you got any rolls you feel might be better?
Thanks for your help!
[i]Edit: Thanks for all the replies! Some really really good ones. This post was not made as a complaint, just trying to make you laugh and have a little fun (Something i feel D2 as a whole is missing). TBH i really feel what would be a great change would be to add perks to the MOD system. Let me add Firefly to a gun, let me add Icarus to a gun, Let me add Hidden Hand to a gun. Once the mod is used its permanent, then if i find the gun i enjoy i can have a few options and a little variety. It may make getting my 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th "Better Devils" etc a little more worth getting. And make exotics non Moddable as they are pre-modded currently.[i]

After careful consideration I must recommend Gun 3. Better Devils with Sureshot, Flared Magwell and Explosive Payload. Sure 1 is solid and 2 could outperform in some areas but 3 is by far the better all around pick. Hope I was able to help, good luck Guardian! 😎

2 通の返信I personally liked random rolls. However, over 1,000 hours and I had like maybe two. One was the vendor palindrome before the reroll update. The other was a Colovance. Quite frankly, it made players better by forcing them to strategize and work to their best weapon's strengths. I performed decently throughout D1 PvP using my wits and weapons best suited to my opponents' playstyles. I hated the way the Eyasluna handled. But my Devil You Know was a superb handcannon and the only thing it had going for it was outlaw. I switched weapons so many times in D1, I was on a first name basis with all of them. None but two were ever "godly." If you needed LiTC or a cross mapping handcannon to win, then well, maybe you should re-evaluate your gaming abilities. The problem with any loot driven game is this insane, unrealistic notion that ANY developer can keep churning out content on a weekly basis. Granted Destiny 2 has MORE than just a loot/content issue. This goes for all games. The biggest issue is that people like to buy one game and act like it's the savior to gaming and play it constantly every day until they've done it all and burn themselves out. Within the span of a week. And then they complain about a situation brought on by their own doing. I mean, doing everything in one week is impressive and a testament to skill, but come on. My Twitter feed is filled with so many streamers begging for info on the next best game so they can attempt to put food on their tables or get people to watch them play a game. I love games as much as the next gamer, but introduce yourselves to a word called, "diversity." Play other games. Hell, if you can't afford many new games because of budgeting like myself, try new hobbies in real life. You never know what you'll like. And every time you come back to a looter game, you'll find you have plenty to do. And I'm not specifically talking about Destiny. Honestly, Destiny 2 isn't really my cup of tea, I only play it with my friends or when I'm taking a break from other games. Mark my words, Anthem will suffer the same problem. If Division 2 isn't a pile of garbage like the first Division at launch, it will eventually suffer the same problem. Any upcoming online loot based game will suffer the same problem. Because their communities don't diversify their interests and feel the need to no life them into the ground. Personally, I'm excited to play Destiny 2, Division 2, Anthem, and OSRS all at the same time. Plenty of loot to be had between all 4 games. Not to mention I have real life hobbies as well as a job and don't game all day, every day. The gaming community as a whole has become VERY demoralizing to associate with. I have the utmost respect and pity for anyone brave enough to choose a career path in the development of video games these days.

144 通の返信DuBChiri2により編集済み: 3/20/2018 8:42:56 PMEveryone raise your hands for who would actually change that roll... None, ok. Everyone raise your hands for how many handcannons they would probably make exactly like it...ok everyone. How many people would mix up their rolls and actually utilize the different perks? Ok...about a 5th of the hands. How many people made that same decision in Destiny 1, come on raise your hands. Ok, about 90% of the class, interesting. Now tell me again why it's better students, and remember, variety is only an illusion so it doesn't count. *mumble in the back* What was that? Speak up boy. *mumble rewarding and fun mumble* I see...now explain that to me. Boy: it gives an incentive to grind strikes and...makes duplicates less boring... Teacher:...oh I see what you are confusing your information on. You actually believe that the random rolls added a grind because you would eventually get the roll that you were going for, but what about the other duplicates? You most likely didn't keep a single one of them unless it was the only one you had. You are essentially throwing away every single other roll simply because it's not the one you wanted...but wait...isnt that the exact same thing as having one static rolled weapon with the perks you want and every other similar weapon simply being the one you trashed? Sure you could have a weapon that looked different, but it was basically the exact same thing in the end wasn't It? That my student, is what we call a fake expansion on content. Because you ultimately are spending the time to get one weapon that just IS better than the rest...kind of like using a uriels over a positive outlook. Maybe not exactly the same, but the ultimate end goal is to get that same roll on a different weapon isn't It? You don't care about the rest of the rolls simply because it's not the same as the one you wanted, sure you could change up your rolls...but what are the chances? How many handcannons with explosive rounds, auto rifles with hcr, pulses and scouts with kill clip or rampage, does it take for you to decide to switch things up? How small was that variety in the end in Destiny 1? How many people willingly used a weapon that provided less utility in something more serious? I know and understand the potential, but how much of that did many of us ignore? How many of us wanted to be forced to grind god damn Taniks just to get a does not bow with rangefinder and counterbalance, and how many of the non perfect rolls did you keep? Maybe 1 or 2? Maybe I'm wrong though, maybe people DID utilize that variety that I personally never saw. Maybe my understanding of utility vs fun is skewed? Maybe Destiny 1 is the reason I feel like this. Maybe making perks the only defining reason to use a weapon is why I don't like random rolls. There's that one piece of the puzzle that fits for everyone else...but it seems to go in there but not complete the puzzle...like it wasn't something there to improve or make the game whole...but it was something to distract you from a lack of better content... Because raid gear was static and people DID long after obtaining everything, because it was fun. The other strikes didn't have that kind of entertainment or fulfillment so they simply were not enough by themselves, so the best way to distract people was to give them a reason to grind that boring, meticulous content, because if there were no incentive...why bother... Edit: Sorry to all the people I've pissed off but I can't help feel the way I feel. If I have a single handcannon with every single roll, what incentive besides maybe a slight difference in look or stats should give me any incentive to want other handcannons? There just isn't any.

How funny is it that of the three posts in the top section of this forum that have 400+ replies, two of them are about Better Devils ... lol Yeah, I chased the perfect Eyasluna for a long time before getting it. No such thing here.

So in destiny 1, countless posts of people complaining because they could not get a god roll weapon after putting x amount of hours in. It’s not fair, I farmed omnigul for 3 days straight, not one grasp, then my friend gets a perfect roll on his first try. Everyone cried when people rolled their clever dragons to have hi cal. Do people not remember the countless posts about this. Then people complained about weapon re-rolling during how. Saying this ability ruined guns. Everyone running around with a perfectly rolled matador or party crasher. All I remember about random rolls was that one half of the community complained how they couldn’t get the god roll, the other half complained about those that did have the god roll. No one was ever happy. Don’t even get me started on the eyasluna posts 😂

5 通の返信Your post cleverly hit one of the main reasons I’ve lost interest in Destiny 2 other than raids. Nothing in D2 gives you advantage in your investment of time. This is what our world would be like if liberals ruled it. Every one no matter the lack of investment is the same. There is something amazing about getting that god rolled LDR (Mine had Hidden Hand, Short gaze, and triple tap). To spend hours grinding a specific vender with the hopes of getting such, made it fun to grind. What about a Grasp of Malok with max stability? In D2 your greatest grinds aren’t for god rolls or even powerful mods, but foolish cosmetics. Nothing you get gives you advantage over PVP or PVE. Everyone is the same.

12 通の返信The best roll is to uninstall the game. Take the disc and chuck it in the trash where it belongs.
