It was rather obvious, like blunt obvious.
Guy would start dancing, you'd be shooting him and no damage would be done- suddenly he's behind you with an SMG in your back- and goes right back to dancing.
Both guys on the team were in a clan.. both of them teleporting everywhere- standing still and dancing one moment, suddenly in your face with Acreus the next.
Reported them... but still, you had to lag switch to win? Just... wow... rather sad.

1 返信Yah. It's as common as dirt now. Just like this Warlock in the last IB: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bhZPH0GfSU8 He/She lag switched and strobed the entire match. There is probably a Bungie achievement for Lag Switching now. And this is all Bungie fault too. Rather than have real host servers, PvP is now pure Peer to Peer. So your IP Address is exposed to everyone in the game now, where as in D1, it was only the one Host that saw your address. DOS and other IP Exploits can happen any time now.

3 通の返信People won't believe you that there is cheating in the Crucible but there is and a lot of it. Sometimes you come against a stack group that are basically crap then suddenly about halfway through they turn into PVP gods. un killable with the aim of pro sniper. It's been bad since destiny one, I don't see stopping any time soon

7 通の返信reporting them does nothing. I spent an entire year reporting lag and bad connection, cheating players.. still got matched up with them in future matches.. still saw they continued to play.. its rampant and has been for years. Bungie doesn't want to loose the paying customer and doesn't actually care about our experience.. They give a few time outs to a few players to make it appear they are doing something but, overall.. money tumps the game play.

10 通の返信My mate gave up playing Trials due to being ddossed just before going flawless. He just quit the game entirely because of cheating twats. Happened four times before he finally threw in the towel.

1 返信I delt with ddos in trials last weekend! First they kicked one and we were still winning then they kicked the second person and we held the lead so they kicked the third leaving me to 1v4! If you have to cheat to win what’s the point

4 通の返信It’s worse today than I’ve ever seen it in D2. Worse than trials, worse than IB. This is why nobody plays the game. On one side you have pussies who cheat, and on the other you have pussies at bungie who don’t ban players.

It’s in the road map... Everything will be ok, someday.... Maybe over the rainbow .. The big clown in charge at Bungievision needs to go back to the circus... I wish I could get a refund, I probably wouldn’t feel like I have to Troll to get my moneys worth...

1 返信BUNGIE: "Let's package lag switches with a $199 D3." Playerbase: "Pre-order!!!!!!!!!!!" (Hey, it worked for the Prometheus Lens debacle!)

4 通の返信Some people just have awful internet and have minor lag, but extreme cases like that definitely sound like lag switching. Ultimately, some people just have no skill and can't actually "get good". Same thing consistently across trials. I'd feel bad for them if they weren't such huge douches.

1 返信Jasper - 7により編集済み: 2/14/2018 7:22:27 PMI could understand the use of a lag switch in D1 or D2 Trails as it is highly competitive, But in crimson days when there is NO downside to losing (Aside from K/D W/L but who really cares about that unless you live for trials.) is very sad that someone would rather use cheats to win rather than skill, even when there is no punishment for losing.

Oh yes, most of the matches I played were like that, that's why I am not wasting any more of my time on it. I saw more lagging and cheating than in iron banner, and that's saying something!! The loot's just not worth the hassle!!!

60 通の返信The real question is why you are playing at all? Do you love all this cosmetic crap and duplicate rewards that much? You must do, because the pvp experience in D2 is terrible....
