Crimson Days begins in Destiny 2 on Tuesday, February 13. At the heart of the weeklong event is a 2v2 Crucible playlist intended to get your blood pumping as you and a friend test your bonds to the breaking point. This celebration of teamwork will last one week!

The combat scenario is 2v2 Clash with a round-based twist. We will also be debuting The Burnout, a new take on The Burning Shrine set in a future timeline where the Vex have succeeded in altering our reality.

The sun is darkened and the only Light to be found comes from you and your partner fighting as one. Stay in close proximity to your partner and your abilities recharge at a faster rate. Stray too far, and your enemies will be given a waypoint leading to your location. If you can’t find a partner, don’t worry. We’ll play matchmaker and find one for you.

The Rewards
The best way to earn rewards during Crimson Days is to compete in the Crimson Days Crucible playlist, and we’ve tuned the experience to focus on rewarding single-character play. Most rewards are found within a new Crimson Engram, with all contents on a “knock-out” list, preventing you from receiving duplicate items until you’ve earned all of the new gear.
No matter which activity you play in Destiny 2 during Crimson Days, every player will receive both an Illuminated Engram and a Crimson Engram when they level up. Crimson Engrams are only earnable through gameplay, and are not capped or limited during the event. To qualify, you need only to reach the level cap for your Guardian (that’s 25 if you’ve acquired Expansion 1; 20 if you haven’t).

There are also five new rewards found exclusively for players who complete the following:
• Complete the milestone “Welcome to Crimson Days” by finishing five Crimson Days matches and visiting Lord Shaxx in the Tower to earn the Fire of the Crimson Days Emblem and the Tirastrella Ghost Shell.
• Complete matches in the Crimson Days Crucible playlist for a chance to earn the Undeterred Exotic Sparrow.
• Complete either the Leviathan Raid or the Raid Lair: Eater of Worlds to claim the Dieselpunk Exotic Ornament for Wardcliff Coil from the final chest.
• Complete the Nightfall Strike during the Crimson Days event to earn the Flaunting Dance Emote.
Crimson Engrams will only be earnable through gameplay, but if you’re looking to directly purchase a specific item, Tess will also offer a selection of the Crimson Engram contents in exchange for the Bright Dust you are holding. Gear purchased with Bright Dust will also count towards the “knock-out” list mechanic described above, preventing duplicate items unless you have already earned all the rewards.
Every reward item obtained from a Crimson Engram can also be dismantled for Bright Dust, including event-specific shaders.
Crimson Days will begin next Tuesday, February 13, and conclude on the weekly reset at 9 AM PST on Tuesday, February 20. If you’ve yet to find a dance partner, now is the time. We’ll see you in the arena.

1 返信Rewards weren’t very good but I will admit I had fun. Ran into a lot of solo players that didn’t stick with their teammate for some reason lol.

17 通の返信Double down on “team shoot” meta.☑️ Add only cosmetic items.☑️ Focus on PVP. ☑️ Yeah, I’m going back to D1. Screw this.

1 返信Got Doom (2016) yesterday, just got my Mirage Prime frame in Warframe the other day, and getting Monster Hunter World in the near future as well as the Secret of Mana remake. Only one week to get everything, terrible gameplay changes with the crimson days playlist, and still no addressing the core issues of the game? Sorry, but I think it's time that people give their time to other Devs and games that actually want their customers to stick around.

4 通の返信So this really is the most awful, frustrating thing bungie has ever done . How can they possibly screw this up .ill be that guy stood there doing nothing until my milestone is done , this really is the pinnacle of bungies utter cluelessness . So disappointing .... yet again . To clarify my objections why on God’s earth would you massively increase grenade charge ? Why give a ridiculous buff to damage ? Why isn’t it quicker super charge rather than pointless grenade spamming . This really is the poorest thought out thing you’ve done yet , I say yet because I doubt this is rock bottom . How do you consistent find new ways to suck the fun out of this game . If you ever do wonder why this game is dying it’s garbage like this . How about for once doing something utilising this kind of mechanic in pve for once . We don’t want Pvp only events all the damn time . I’ll give you credit for rethinking eververse for this though .

dmg04, I would have to say you guys need to look into your knock out list again. I just got the same exotic sparrow twice the one named Undeterred. A fellow guardian of mine has a different one called Undefeated. It also has the same crimson days icon in the upper left telling me that it is one of the rewards. Getting duplicates was not supposed to happen until after you get all of the items which this is not what I have experienced tonight. It doesnt really bother me all to much but it might upset others who are trying to collect everything from the event. On another note if the exotic sparrow named Undefeated is not a Crimson days reward then I would say the icon for Crimson days should not be on it.

You killed my favorite part of Destiny ; Doubles PVP. This was a real stab to the dead Destiny heart. Why oh whyyyy did you try to make this into a mayhem, quick slash and dash mode? What a Disgusting move and a not wholly unexpected failure.... I know that you know with all of these bad decisions, your company is going to sink. You are already failing! ....Find yourself!

Origami_Ninja97により編集済み: 2/14/2018 10:07:24 PMAnybody having problems going to the tower ? I keep getting error messages and whatnot but I could do other stuff except go cash in my engrams and when I do connect I’m only there for less than a minute and get booted back to orbit again, like I’m trying to enjoy the event but I literally can’t

Quite enjoyed it but it’s pretty silly having to shard stuff because there just isn’t the space. I know people say just keep what you need but it’s all so similar it only means anything as a collection.i mean why bother?

Oh dude no way I can’t believe it! 😱
RESKINS!!! That’s like so cool and so worth getting. This totally makes me want to play destiny 2 again. And man that armor! It totally, not even anything but standard armor. 😑
3 通の返信I don't recall match making being in the last Crimson Days event, wonder why they have brought it in this time.... 🤔

I’m critical at times and under no illusion that the game is brilliant, but I’m enjoying the change this week with doubles, I enjoyed it in d1 and it’s nice to see it back, hope it makes a more permanent return after this event. Also rewards that are more available through game play is a step in the right direction. It would have been nice to see some armour sets as well as shaders, the yr3 d1 raid armour sets were for me some of the best looking ones in the game, so it would be welcomed if you were as creative in developing those cool sets. Same with weapons, d1 weapons looked menacing and with evocative name, I’d like to see a return of these, not the old ones but new ones. Also can I have my raze-lighter back, with memory of radaghast

Stay in close proximity to your partner and your abilities recharge at a faster rate. Stray too far, and your enemies will be given a waypoint leading to your location.
Sounds interesting. I'm not a fan of PVP, and probably wont be playing this, but that's a neat idea.
If you can’t find a partner, don’t worry. We’ll play matchmaker and find one for you.
Thank you. Some players have difficulty putting teams together. This was a wise choice on your part that I'm sure took very little effort in leveraging your existing matchmaking systems.
The best way to earn rewards during Crimson Days is to compete in the Crimson Days Crucible playlist,
of course it is, it's a PVP event.
and we’ve tuned the experience to focus on rewarding single-character play.
what does this mean? You expect players to pick one character and stick with it rather than swapping between classes as they choose? This needs clarification. *EDIT* I think what they mean here is that the knockout list is character-specific, so if you don't have all the rewards on your Titan yet and decide to switch to your Hunter, there is a good chance you'll get items you already have. It's tuned in such a way that they expect you to stay on one character until you have all the items. That's how I interpret it anyway, after thinking it over more.
Most rewards are found within a new Crimson Engram, with all contents on a “knock-out” list, preventing you from receiving duplicate items until you’ve earned all of the new gear.
Knockout list? Finally. We're tired of duplicates, especially during temporary events. This needs to be a thing from now on.
No matter which activity you play in Destiny 2 during Crimson Days, every player will receive both an Illuminated Engram and a Crimson Engram when they level up.
Smart. Many players dont enjoy PVP but still want a way to get the loot. If they're willing to grind endlessly to level up, let them. What harm is it? Hopefully though this does not come with a stealth nerf to XP gain.
Crimson Engrams are only earnable through gameplay, are not capped or limited during the event. To qualify, you need only to reach the level cap for your Guardian (that’s 25 if you’ve acquired Expansion 1; 20 if you haven’t).
Good. Since Crimson engrams can't be bought, we can't accuse you of putting them behind the paywall and pushing the cash shop on us. You've also learned that capping our reward is a bad idea, and you learned that requiring the expansion only alienates your players that haven't bought it yet, regardless of their reason. You're improving, Bungie. :)
• Complete the milestone “Welcome to Crimson Days” by finishing five Crimson Days matches and visiting Lord Shaxx in the Tower to earn the Fire of the Crimson Days Emblem and the Tirastrella Exotic Ghost Shell.
I suppose this is a fair trade, since some of the rewards below require PVE participation. And it's a guaranteed reward, so win or lose you'll get it after 5 matches. At least you dont required 5 wins. Thanks.
• Complete matches in the Crimson Days Crucible playlist for a chance to earn the Undeterred Exotic Sparrow.
No, bad Bungie. If I complete something during a limited time event, the reward should be guaranteed. Chance-based rewards should something I can go after at my leisure, when I want to, on my own time. In a time-limited event, all rewards should be guaranteed if you do the requisite activity.
• Complete either the Leviathan Raid or the Raid Lair: Eater of Worlds to claim the Dieselpunk Exotic Ornament for Wardcliff Coil from the final chest.
Complete the raid, get the ornament. That's fair. And it's not a "high value" reward item, so those who dont get it wont feel like they missed something incredibly special or appealing. Ghosts and Sparrows are more appealing to most than an ornament.
• Complete the Nightfall Strike during the Crimson Days event to earn the Flaunting Dance Emote.
Complete the Nightfall, get the emote: that's fair. Nightfalls aren't terribly hard for even a half-skilled team.
Again, we cant accuse you of pushing the cash shop since we can only get engrams via gameplay. And you're giving us the ability to buy the exact item we want in case we've not been able to farm engrams to get it. Smart.
Every reward item obtained from a Crimson Engram can also be dismantled for Bright Dust, including event-specific shaders.
More ways to get dust, especially once we have all the rewards and start getting duplicates? Nice. Overall I have to say I'm rather pleased with how you're approaching this event, Bungie. If you'd make the sparrow a guaranteed reward I'd not have anything bad to say about it at all. You're really improving, and I think that's what makes that one misstep the more frustrating.
