The world tier system in the division is a great concept and one that could work very well for the future of the Destiny franchise.

One of the things I've struggled with in Destiny overall is the difficulty scaling. Minus nightfall, strikes with burn modifiers and raids other content hasn't given me the option of a satisfying challenge.
In D2 they've added lost sectors, adventures and flashpoints to the existinh activity portfolio. Meaning there's even less opportunity for monotonous gameplay (execution of these is a WHOLE diff convo). But borrowing and amending a concept like world tiers could go a long way to improving the overall experience.
