You guys need to either give up on Destiny 2, or focus more on it and quit working on Destiny 3. Quit being so greedy. It’s really sad how bad Destiny 2 has become, yet you guys are already working on Destiny 3. I really hope that it was just a rumor I heard about Destiny 3, and that I made myself look stupid. I’d rather you guys focus on Destiny 2 and Destiny 2 only. Quit focusing more on Eververse and focus on making quality content. CoO was the worst expansion I’ve ever spent money on; there was more content in Eververse than there was actual expansion. You guys are clearly running off of greed since you tried to lock the nightfall, prestige raid, faction rally, and iron banner behind the CoO paywall. The Destiny community has caught you guys so many times doing sketchy moves to make you guys more money. With as good as Destiny 1 was, you guys should really be embarrassed right now. Please learn from your mistakes. In my eyes, you guys are already too far gone. Prove me and everyone else wrong. I really wanted Destiny 2 to improve on Destiny 1, but it has just took huge steps backwards. I had high hopes for this game and if I could go back in time, I wouldn’t have bought the game and season pass, but I guess you guys already got me to throw my money at the screen. I’m glad you guys got what you wanted.

They can't bro. This game was never about us...it never was. This is all about big IP publishing deals and the contractual obligations that go along with them. Bungie will lose a apart of itself if it doesn't make good on its promise to deliver X, Y, and Z to Activision. The penalties are high. That's the reason why they're feeding us this watered down bs at the expense of franchise integrity. Destiny doesn't belong to them (Bungie) or us anymore. They need to crank out 3 games plus dlc which is why they are blatantly cutting up their game (even with us knowing) and selling it as dlc etc etc...all part of the delivery. Smh This is all about a publishing contract folks. Nothing more nothing less. Our community complaints are all just smoke and mirrors residual crap. The end game is fulfilling that publishing deal.

True story there! I bought the whole package for D2. Only reason I get on weekly. Play through the milestones on all three toons. Not buying D3. A little to late for them to fix it for me. They keep promising. Don't promise if you can not deliver. I am talking the broad spectrum not the little cosmetic changes.

You are aware destiny 1 had more issues than D2 is has had right? The DLCs on D1 were so broken and I'd like to say more people spent more money for D1 than D2. A lot of people had to swap there D1 stuff over from 360 to one and from PS3 to PS4 which did cost quite a bit. And yes I agree locking people out of things because they didn't pay for it is bad but isn't that all of D1? You had to buy every dlc in order to participate in really anything and they managed to fix that because people were unhappy. So what exactly is the issue? Is everyone just upset because of something they did for an event because if so that is really pathetic. So what if it's harder now, just means you have to actually work to get stuff done

Destiny 1 was a learning experience for Bungie. They saw that locking people out of content behind a paywall upset them, but they still gave it a try in Destiny 2. The end of Rise of Iron showed us the potential Destiny as a franchise has. The game was damn near perfect in terms of content and meaningful gear. Plenty of things to keep you coming back every week. They took everything away that made Destiny 1 great by the end of its life cycle. A sequel should improve upon what they had going in the first one. Say what you want about Destiny 1’s rough start, but judging by the amount of people playing Destiny 2 right now, I’d say Destiny 2 pretty well destroyed our hopes. They are seriously just milking what’s left of community. The Dawning event this year showed us what Bungie wants. I don’t care if they did sell everything, there is just no way you could get everything without spending money especially since they upped the experience to earn Bright Engrams causing us to acquire less bright dust. Less level ups=less bright engram=less bright dust=you spending money=more money for Bungie.

Is it stupid to have to pay to play? Of course they did that in D1 and it was obnoxious. But they did fix that issue in D2, even though some people say they tried to do it again, it got called on and hey look at that it's fixed. Granted by the end D1 had a lot more going for it than D2 has and probably will ever have. As with the dawning event a lot of people complained there was no way to get the gear without spending money. I didn't see the issue because i just did what I could to get as many engrams as I could, whether that was easy or hard and it payed off. So many people get upset because they don't get what they're wanting but that happens in every single game that has random drop. It's literally a gamble, you can earn a gamble or you can pay for a gamble, the choice is left up to you for that.

Apparently it is too hard to produce content. From the looks of it they need all the help they can get if they want Destiny 2 to succeed. All we’ve been getting is rushed content anyways. Bungie screwed up working with Activision.

It’s not only Activision. Bungie -blam!-ed up too. And again, the people working on D3 are just a few artwork designers, model designers, and voice actors. They aren’t qualified for literally anything else.
