I've been playing Destiny since D1 Beta. I looked forward to D2, especially as D1 drew to a close and D2 beckoned with lots of opportunities. D2 story was great ... since then its been one hugely disappointing misstep after another. I love collecting things in the game, sadly that is impossible. I could deal with Fixed rolls, after all, that meant Bungie could implement kiosks to hold weapons and armor that we've "collected". Small vault space shouldn't be an issue, after all, we'd left "last gen" behind, and they were always the ones Bungie blamed for the smaller vault space. D2 launched and between the lack of Kiosks, and little to no vault space (exacerbated by the new monetization of shaders), and somewhere before DLC1 dropped, I was just about out of vault space. I realized that as space to collect ran out, so to did my desire to play. Sure, I played through DLC1 but it was painful and had to keep shuffling items around. Then the latest Faction rally dropped, and my hopes of getting all three sets for all three guardians was pretty much dashed, let alone getting the ornaments unlocked for all three factions. This, combined with still having to deal with the limited collection space and then you get to throw the added "lockout fun" that Bungie decided to give to the player base as a Giant F-U. Thanks Bungie. I know you always say you've been listening, well it turns out I guess I hadn't been. I was still under the impression that you wanted me as a player. Don't worry though, I hear what you've been saying and I'm going to put D2 down now. There are lots of other games out there to play that actually communicate with the player base and make them feel less like the MTX store should sell Vaseline. Edit: P.S. weren't we promised that packages previously collected from factions would count, so we could actually just buy the gear we were missing? Oh well ... foolish me to think think they might keep any promises.
