To prevent token farming in Iron Banner Season Two, we have installed a throttling system whereby if you win two matches in a row you will not receive tokens from the second match. After a cool-down period of one loss, or a 10 minute orbit time, you may resume winning another match.
After careful consideration we came to the conclusion that receiving tokens too fast will allow players to receive the old Iron Banner items, that they already have but don't use, too quickly.
As you know, we at Bungie are committed to going green in 2018, and will be recycling as much content as we possibly can.
