No. Would wait about 6 months too. It isn't even good enough to wait for reviews because so many people were eager to pump out Day 1 reviews that they only went off of like the first several hours of the game. And first impressions looked like this game was actually pretty good. But the endgame was most revealing. So I would wait to actually see the bulk of the game several months in. What I shoulda done for this game, but I was really happy with AoT and thought that they were learning how to build off of their foundation. So I was excited for D2. Not again.

I wouldn’t preorder another game from Bungie with someone else’s money my dude. This was the first game preordered in a long time and I whole heartedly regret it. I feel like I shelled out 80 bucks for used toilet paper.

1 返信If my friends are all gonna get it day 1 I'll pre-order it. If not I won't. It's come to the point in my gaming life where I only game with my friends, no interest in single player games anymore. Since the only games we really play are D1 and D2, most likely yes. Sidenote: I remember alot of people on these forums saying they weren't going to preorder or buy D2 during the last months of D1. Alot of the same names are now saying they won't buy or preorder D3. Am I missing something?
-
2 通の返信Nope. I pre-ordered EVERYTHING up through the deluxe edition of D2. Not only will I NEVER pre-order another destiny release. I am likely done with the entire franchise for good. And this is coming from someone who was very very excited about D2 headed into. Bungie has simply lost me as a consumer as a result of their decision making process and underhanded approach to their games.

1 返信This whole thing makes me think if I ever do buy a product of theirs again it will be second hand from Gamestop/Amazon/friend to make sure they don’t get my money.

Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, shame on you. There won't be a 3rd. I will treat Destiny like I treat all other video games from here on out. I will be renting D3 on Gamefly. When they come out with an expansion, I will wait a day or two, then see if it's even worth it (depending on how the Vanilla version of D3 goes obviously. If it's awesome, then most likely I won't even wait and just pre order).
-
Never again. I did it with D1 and was very disappointed. I then saw what D1 had become years later so I thought maybe they changed, so I gave in and did it for D2. while I had fun in the beginning, I was very bored shortly after from the lack luster content that was missing everything that is coming in the future. I don't want to buy 10% of a game and wait 3 years till it hits 50% of the game I already payed for. Once again I was let down, there won't be a 3rd. I'm done till the next expansion (since it's already payed for) and will not be investing any more money in this company. I have moved on to free to play titles and if I feel they deserve my money I give it to them.
-
Possibly, if enough of my friends are also going to be playing on day 1. Otherwise I might wait to buy D3 until bungie has made enough expansions to reintroduce all the Destiny1 and Destiny2 features that they cut out of the base game for D3. Plus they will likely sell the complete set with all the expansions cheaper afterward for less than it would have cost to buy them individually as they are released.
-
That’s a hard one. I would probably still preorder so I can have access to the Beta, but I definitely won’t buy the expansion pass again. Bungie did good on a lot of things in this game but they have definitely let us all down with the end game and rewards as well as some other stuff. It’s frustrating and I don’t play D2 very much at all anymore because there’s nothing left to grind. I’ll be back for the next DLC since I already paid for it. Lol.

1 返信The Destiny franchise and indeed Bungie are dead to me. I wasted far to much on this trash game; they will NEVER get another cent out of me (just like EA Games).
