Destiny 2 doesn't even make the top 10 most played games on Xbox

No dedicated serves = Not an esport. No fully clarified patch notes = Not an esport. No beta testing whatsoever = Not an esport. No weapon balance = Not an esport. No fully functional ranking system = Not an esport. No separated solo/team queues = Not an esport. No anti-camping spawn points = Not an esport. No anti-hack protocols = Not an esport. ... Do I really need to say more? If you bought this game thinking the pvp was gonna be awesome, I pity you: there was enough evidence out there confirming the game was never intended to be pvp competitive, let alone to be an esport. All the devs claiming Destiny 2 PvP was supposed to be amazing to watch on streams and such, was just a blatant attempt at marketing through the inet media.

Having PVP that is balanced like a competitive shooter----instead of like an RPG (see WoW or Warframe). 3. Completely re-engineering Destiny 2 to be "e-sport ready". Which became the mistake of the size, scope and severity that IT is, only because of mistakes numbers 1 and 2. But these are "the trees". If you step back and look again you see an even more fundamental issue that both Bungie and the community are guilty of that has been an ANCHOR around the neck of Destiny and is preventing it from reaching its potential as an RPG: [b][i]The Legacy of Halo. Nostalgia for Halo and its Multi-player...and an unwillingness to LET IT GO, and allow Destiny to be its own game....is the BIGGEST mistake that is being made with this game. [/i][/b]...and Bungie keeps making it over, and over and over again. It just keeps taking on different forms as the franchise evolves.

Sad thing is that Destiny 2 is dying by the day because of the gameplay and endgame and by the time Bungie gets around to fixing it? it will pretty much be done and over. Once you lose the fans, the game will be dead no matter what you do. Bungie seems to have their priorities all messed up at this point. Modding is not enough to bring people back. It has to be endgame and keeping people busy.

Radical20により編集済み: 1/8/2018 10:13:56 PMD2 is much better than Vanilla D1, but is that really saying much? D2 vanilla is several steps back from Y3 D1 in spite of several improvements. (Selecting my next activity from any location and staying in the character menu while traveling is huge in my book.) The main problem I have is that the game was sold as a looter shooter mmo rpg with an epic tale to tell. It is a great shooter, the loot is meh, the mmo falls a touch short, and the rpg is nonexistent. It has great lore, but the delivered game barely pulls from that. Instead we are given a brief glimpse into the world which adds mystery, but the underdeveloped story is a sign of lazy writing imo. Can Bungievision deliver on the epic tale we were sold on? I doubt it. The grind to 265 was too easy. Midway through the story missions I found myself on patrol and after a few public events I was 265. There was no point in adventures or lost sectors aside from a completion stand point.

2 通の返信OP you got to stop this. Made my day 3 times in 2 weeks. I hate the fact I want to see these kind of figures happening to D2, but its needed. Bungo need it. They need motivating to stop thinking with there wallets and start thinking about the player. The massive #removeeververse movement is pretty dam good, but guys we don't want Bungo fixated on just this. There are so many other things in D2 that are wrong. Foremost and most importantly for me is the game is so boring they need to fix that to and rapidly....

I know that's an elementary statement and nowhere near original, but ignoring customers is a stupid move businesses make, even generally speaking. I remember hearing about Blockbuster and Netflix taking huge hits for whatever reason, but I remember hearing it was linked to what the customers wanted. And now lethalviper keeps posting massive numbers dropping. No suprise there.

Why should it? I see SW Battlefront II is there, also COD WWII, of course PUBG and Fortnite. What a failure D2 is, I know this is old news at this point but still mind boggling how they could turn a top 3 game D1 into the mess that D2 is.

I'm not joking. It's sad when a stupid game like Roblox has people more creative than paid professionals :/ Back in the day "build your own raft" was the peak of Roblox, then some arena based games came out and then the RP's started flooding the games section... That game holds way too many memories and it essentially helped me develop my social skills because my ADHD medication interfered with it. Don't bash on my Roblox bro it (was) a top quality F2P game and there's no one who can deny it :) (-blam!- the old memes and shit though like the epic face) [spoiler]I'm allowed to call it stupid, I basically played it from elementary school up to freshman year of highschool, but then they screwed shit up and took mah TIX away, assholes man!
