So (when you're old enough and pay for your own stuff) there you are. Sitting at the stoplight in your base model, mid-range car. A guy rolls up next to you in the XL, SE, whatever the loaded version is called with all the OPTIONS. Chrome, paint, tinted windows, high end wheels, SatNav, etc. If you're pissed off about paying for optional crap in a video game....
See how far you get bitching at the car maker that they put a bunch of OPTIONS behind a paywall?
Good luck with that.

1 返信How about this as a anti comparison Ok you want to buy a new car so you go to the dealership You see a brand new Ferrari you had your eye on last week so you tell the guy that's the one , you want the best one with the best options Now the car dealer asks you to pay and spin around in circle with your finger out , whatever you point at you get You end up with a Toyota pickup Would you be happy?

1 返信Al things added should be payed for just like life, HOWEVER, the issue is that too much end game content is in eververse. BUT look at how every other game is heading. All popular games are designed this way now. It makes money and money talks more than the crowds emotion about their view of the game. This is gaming “of the future.” Pay to play.

When you are buying a car, it is your choice, not rng, that you chose a base model. When you pay $$, there should be no rng. You are buying Silver with real money to buy what you want, not a raffle ticket... That is the reason to never buy Silver, ever...

1 返信This is dumb. For this to work you’d have to take said car back to said dealer for a service, only for said car to be returned to you with one wheel missing, one seat removed, the wiring for the lights to messed up. The engine swapped to a smaller size and a big bill for the service. So yeah you made a dumb post but your clearly dumb for trying to defend this game in the first place

7 通の返信That's a terrible analogy and you know it :p I could make the counter argument that when I bought my house (since I'm old enough to be paying for my own stuff) it included doors, lights, curtains, an oven, dishwasher, hot water cylinder, and shower head, and that all of these things were included in the base cost of the house and not behind an additional paywall at all. But I won't, because that's also a stupid analogy, we talking about a video game, not the second largest investment you'll ever make.

2 通の返信Crunchyblackにより編集済み: 12/27/2017 5:52:53 PMI went into the dealership and paid $30k for a car loot box, i got a few decals, floor mats, and some dealer tokens that i can trade in for a real car if i collect enough. I just wanted the car though...oh well... the dealer needs to money to keep the showroom floor open so its ok. I should be less poor and pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for a $30k car. If that was reality, your comparison wouldn't be shit tier level. Also people are not mad that other people can buy items....they are mad because the game is poorly made, over priced for what it is, and everything added to the game goes to MTX and doesnt address the core issues... You dont even understand why people are mad...which is hilarious.

This has got to be the dumbest Eververse apologist/defender post yet. This comparison makes absolutely no sense. Surely you have just a little bit more perspective than this. People are mad because of what Eververse has become. People aren't mad because Eververse is in the game and exists. Eververse wasn't a problem in D1 early on when there were just random emotes and just extra knick-knacks in there for the people that really wanted to collect all the cosmetics. Back then the really wanted sparrows, ships, etc were still obtainable ONLY in endgame or as content rewards. To use your comparison, people aren't mad because they have the base car model and have to pay extra for heated seats and a gold plated license plate. They are mad because Bungie took the damn STEERING WHEEL, GAS PEDAL, and E-BRAKE and put them behind an Eververse paywall. They aren't even part of the base car anymore like they use to be. That's the problem.

You buy a base model car and then drive up to a stop light and see the XL version pull up next to you and see how cool it looks so you decide to do some upgrades. You go to the dealer and they tell you sure you can get the extras you want for your car and here's what you need to do. Go back to the shop and buy some upgrade packages. You need to buy some "Make your car look better tokens" 1st. Then give those tokens to the women at the cash register and she will give you package. Open up the package and get your upgrade. If you don't get the upgrade you're looking for then don't worry you just need to buy some more tokens and buy another package. Just keep doing this over and over again, possibly for infinity until you get the stuff you want for your car.
