Let's be honest if it increased drop too much it would ruin the exotic's rarety completely and people would complain over that instead.

If that's true....i agree...WOW. The real Nerf to exotic drops, was reducing the chance to get them from grinding Heroic Strikes...and raising their odds in Crucible.
