For killing the game we all loved. No other game did it, you killed it yourself.
Bungie, you are the ultimate Destiny killer.
Btw anyone looking forward to Anthem?
Edit: I never expected to see a post of mine blow up on the forums so I feel obligated to state why I feel this game will die.
There isn't dedicated servers, Bungie never explained why we didn't get them either, we asked for years, a top requested feature and Bungie thinks we don't deserve it, they're partnered with activision who can set up such methods, so why doesn't Destiny2 have it?
PvP might be fun for the minority who likes teambased shooters, but for us solo players it's miserable.
PvP only has 2 playlists compared to Destiny 1's playlists with way more game modes and way more match up styles 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 6v6. Why bungo decided to force us to play 4v4 teamshotting, we will never understand.
The removal of red bars, while I understand that Bungie may have removed this due to player toxicity, they never implemented a replacement, how are we to tell if we're lagging or if someone else is?
There isn't any long term goal for hardcore players like myself, we have nothing to grind for. Bungie made this game like any other AAA as of late, where you can hop in play for an hour then leave. What Bungie doesn't understand is that Destiny 1 was just like this, except it was worth playing because there was always something to do.
There's no random rolls and I'm fine with this, but Bungie should've created hundreds of weapons that are all unique and have variety. While also having the mod system having an impact instead of just a +5 damage booster which is essentislly useless.
There aren't any quests unlike D1, what are we striving for here? I don't have any exotic quests like D1, or any regular quests like D1. Quests were fun, nobody was forced to do a quest, so why remove them?
Everyone on PC expected a chat system, for clans, global, shout, and lfg. They need to give console users a fair experience here too, and if chats are implemented on D2 for PC, console users should be able to type with a controller or a plugin keyboard, it's not that hard.
There is so little variety among builds and players and everyone will be the same, so what's with all the reskins?
We deserve better than that.
Destiny 2 completly catered to casuals in every single way, because there isn't any money from us hardcore players, even though I'd gladly buy silver for emotes I think are cool to show support, but never again, not until you FIX THIS GAME.
Private matches and Rumble should've been in Destiny 2 since week one. With private matches coming at around the same time as the dlc, players will be required to purchase dlc in order to get more well around experience and more to do that the base game should've included.
I've read comments saying that this game should be F2P and I'm starting to agree, there isn't any real loot worth grinding for, since everyone can get everything so easily.
What's truly sad about this game is how they're bringing back Destiny 1 weapons and gear, which isn't completly the issue itself, it's the fact that these weapons will be used more than any of D2 weapons or gear, for example MIDA. Why Bungie brought it back we'll never know, but isn't it sad that that most used gun in Destiny 2, a game that's supposed to be a sequel, has a Destiny 1 weapon as it's most used. That proves that none of these weapons are really worth it/good.
Where's the hand cannon's with luck in the chamber or range finder or rifled barrel? Where is anything that stands out in this game completly? The only weapons that stood out to me imo were the class weapon swords, I've always loved class specifics, because it meant it was unique and special. Every weapon should feel like that.
If they're bringing back old gear into a "new" game, bring it all back. Everything. I don't see why they can't. Bring back old planets for free, I don't see why they can't. Bring back player choice, I don't see why they can't.
And for every other invidiual who thinks we expect too much from Bungie, are you serious? They had 3 years to get this game right. 3 YEARS. And you're telling me in all that time they really couldn't have rumble ready at launch?
Where's my combined arms bungie? Did you scrap that completly? What's the point of playing Destiny 2 anymore, when Destiny 2 isn't even anything remotely like Destiny 1. It should've been a sequel with way more improvements. Instead we received an unfinished reboot.
I'm for one, not looking forward to sticking around for 3 years again just to have them reboot us again for Destiny 3, and then Destiny 4 after that.
I'm not going to praise Bungie anymore for giving us features that should've been in the game already, I'm not going to sit here and wait to play a game I was supposed to love. Yeah, they completly sucked me in. I was so hyped for this game, I had high hopes because we gave them so much feedback I bet they didn't even know what to do with it. They could've shot for the stars in this game guys, but they didn't. Except they're giving us a repeat of what was in store for us in Destiny 1. I'll expect this game to be finished by the time Destiny 2 has it's own "Taken king" expansion.
I'm sorry Bungie, fool me once shame on you, but fool me again and I'll just leave. I don't want to, I shouldn't have to, but there's just nothing left for us hardcore players in this game anymore.
For anyone who thinks players will come back for the dlc, yeah if it's worth it. There's so many better games to play and I want to play them now. Which sucks, because I was hoping this game would be the one where I put a couple thousands of hours into.
Tldr: I want to play Destiny 2 and love it, but Destiny 2 doesn't want me to play it.
At this point I'd settle for clan chat in-game on PC and consoles, selectable 6v6 game modes, and rumble.
Those are the only things that'd bring me back, because the dlc looks pretty lack-luster.

85 通の返信N7_Dredgenにより編集済み: 11/2/2017 7:45:04 PMI'm just gonna copy paste my Anthem rant from another thread: I have no faith at all in Anthem. Bioware took what is literally one of their 2 most cherished babies, and then proceeded to gut it in order to give Anthem a transplant. (EDIT: For people who are arguing it's different devlopment teams, you are wrong - Bioware Edmonton was working on Anthem, and then ended up absorbing the Andromeda team, Bioware Montreal, in order to continue Anthem's production.) Mass Effect dies and this clear Destiny wannabe is given life in its place. Not to mention I just can't stand Bioware's SJW pandering. I mean instead of actually developing more content for Andromeda, they instead addressed Tumblr's complaints about 1 single trans character and spent 2 months fixing her/his dialogue to appease them (when they'll likely never even play the game again (if they ever did)). And this trans character is literally a shitty flavor NPC you talk to for 1 minute. They just love to pander - hell in Dragon Age: Inquisition you literally had MORE gay romance options than hetero ones. All they care about is gay this gay that, oh lets spice it up with trans. (And to be clear, I actually used to like that progressive side of them until it became overbearingly shoved in my face.) One or two gay characters was fine, but when the entire galaxy likes eachothers dicks, you've gone too far. I can't wait for them to announce at the next E3 about how your character in Anthem is gay... and trans, and probably also probably an african-asian semetic Jew. Then Buzzfeed, Kotaku and other reputable gamer/journalist sites will have a wet orgy over it. Anthem is going to be shit because it's developed by people who are even bigger cucks than Luke Smith, and even more liklely to shill out for EA than Bungie does for Activision. And I don't even say this in defense of Destiny, just towards anybody who thinks Anthem will be good. You're shitting yourself wrong about that./ The road Bioware has taken in the last 5 years if -blam!-ing garbage and I won't be buying any more games from them until they fix the things they broke. At the very least Bungie didn't kill their original IPs to -blam!- up Destiny. They're just -blam!-ing up their current IP. Meanwhile Bioware is -blam!-ing up their old IPs so they can -blam!- up a new one too. Bungie is the lesser of two evils here, and that is PAINFUL to say. EDIT: Apparently I need to clarify this - but I am not against LGBT presence in video games, I just think it's absurd that 90% of the people in the Milky Way Galaxy are gay, because we all know that isn't remotely reflective of reality. Let's not make this about politics. I'm not a Trump supporter and I shouldn't have to defend myself from people calling me one. You do not know my political affiliations and as such have no reason to think you do. Believe it or not - even liberals can think this is over the top. Personally I see it as a form of abuse of minority populations to use them as token characters.

4 通の返信Sem The Hickmanにより編集済み: 11/2/2017 4:43:37 PMLOL, I do look forward to play Anthem. But I do find it funny how people always act how it's going to be such a flawless game. Everyone is jumping on the hype train just like with D1 and D2 now. I have one question, what is so different between Activision and EA?

1 返信Yep, ever since I saw that E3 trailer I thought right away "This is exactly what Destiny should have been." Notice how Bioware is totally embracing ther whole Lancer (mech) theme and making it central to everything? I like Bungie's gunplay, I really do, but this ISN'T HALO ANYMORE. Our guns should *not* be the primary focus, it should be (in order) - Loot, Space Magic and Story. Bungie needs to decide what they want Destiny to be already, an MMO or an Action-RPG so they can fix the loot accordingly and just embrace the space magic. I'm not saying we should be in Mayhem 24/7, but there's nowhere near enough focus on our abilities and our gear as there should be. Seriously, for the love of God look at what Diablo 3 did and how it works and use that as an example. I'm not saying I want a D3 clone with guns either, only that D3 does a lot of things extremely well that could easily translate into Destiny. Chief among them, piles and piles of loot, and an insane depth of character customization via a wide arrange of abilities and legendary/set items to further modify said abiltiies opening up all kinds of crazy build options. Like, if they would just remove the restriction on Exotics for example, and then follow that up by making Legendaries actually legendary (i.e. powerful gear with specific niches and highly-tuned stats) we'd be in a much better place. The way I view it is (for balance) Exotics should be all about changing how you play the game, while Legendaries provide specific but very powerful bonuses/stats for specific activities. So armor bought from Shax for example, might reduce time needed to defuse a bomb or reduce damage taken from other Guardians etc. that kind of thing. Going back to D1, I always wanted to have a Titan (Hunter main btw) running MK44 Stand Asides, ACD-O Feedback Fence, Twilight Garrison & Eternal Warrior (Inmost Light is tempting but then you don't actually get the move speed bonus I think for having Headstrong on. I could be wrong). Essentially though you'd be a melee power house running around slamming into people (thanks to the 44's) and anyone hitting you back takes damage (ACD) and ofc you have garrison for even more mobility and to be insanely annoying and then the Warrior would allow you to keep Unstoppable for FoH while also taking Headstrong so you get more range and more importantly, the Sprint speed and agility bonuses. That's still nothing on the level of what's possible in Diablo 3's character builds, but in Destiny's Context that's still pretty damned awesome. Or for a more PvE oriented style, go with Alpha Lupi, Glass House, Ruin Wings and Dune Marchers (legs don't really matter in this instance, it's the other 3 that really count). Now you have a support class that generates extra orbs, revives everyone faster, gets extra heavy ammo and the buffs from the bubble last way longer. Alternatively could swap Glass House for Taikonaut (especially if using the extra armor perk, forget the name the one that makes you almost unkillable inside the bubble) for even more bonus heavy ammo. But no, that'd be too much like fun. Too much creativity. Bungie would rather strip us of perks we used to have just for playing a class and move those to "new" exotics, while also dictating which exact set of class skills we take, rather than picking from a list for each category like in D1. Here's a hint bungie, RESTRICTING PLAYER OPTIONS IS A BAD THING, AND DESTINY'S PVP WILL NEVER TRULY BE COMPETITIVE. IT'S NEVER GOING TO APPEAR ON MLG, SO GET OVER IT.

4 通の返信Cant Bungie just give everything to Blizzard.. have them do it. Not saying that Blizzard is 100% perfect, but at least I have things to do in their games, not 2-3 hours of weekly content.. then not open the game again until next week.

3 通の返信The way Anthem deals with multiple "classes" is superior. Having suits allows for the seamless transition from one class to another while playing the same character. Playing three different characters in Destiny is less immersive. I only play one, but in the past have tried to play at least two. I will probably pick the game up, and if it seems other elements are just as fun may switch over to it. My only concern would be the multiplayer setup. I like the Destiny 2 crucible quite a bit and play it a lot more than any of the PVE activities. We shall see!

I'm not looking forward to Anthem because I've experienced a lot of disappointment from Bioware. I remember Bioware back in the 90's during the PC golden age for them. Now they just pump out garbage. I have yet to come across a good game developed by them that has kept me engaged. I'm am however, keeping an eye on it because it is exactly like the Destiny concept.
