I have a Phenom II and was waiting for a response too, so a found a tweet of @ShockAndShaw he's the PC Project Lead at Bungie and confirmed all infos I said above.

Yeah I just saw that too while looking around for updates on this issue. There are probably thousands of us using Phenom II still. Because they run games like Destiny 2 just fine. Some people have even committed up to 24gig ram, can run this with the higher end phenom II's on ultra settings. Most of us are just poor and would even play less optimized games on potato graphics, we just want to play with our friends and not get left behind on weekly progression and tokens. I personally would probably be able to play comfortable on high settings still and I rarely make gaming purchases. Upgrading CPU would require an entire new mobo, case, ram etc.

Nice! XD All we have to do now is wait. I personaly did'nt upgrade my processor cuz it's a great one with GHz and cores enougth for almost all programs and games. I've only upgraded my GPU card to a R9 390x last year and I can run every recent game in high or ultra settings, like Overwatch, For Honor and even Destiny 2 in Beta all these games with 100+ FPS. I hope this fix come fast. ^^
