...so about this story.
Why didn't Ghaul go after the CORRUPTED shard of the Traveler for his powers? Apparently everyone knows about it.
That rock seems a lot less discerning than the Traveler and apparently all you have to do is kill some dregs and stare at it.
Why didn't we take the Vanguard Guardians to the shard to get their light back? That seems like it would have been helpful.
Why didn't the Guardians fall back to the Iron Temple when the tower fell? Seems a hell of a lot more secure than a farm plus it already has all of our shit there.
While we are on the topic of the the Iron Lords where's Efrideet?
Also, while we are on the topic of missing characters... where's the Stranger? When is she going to get some time to explain?! It's going on four years.
So many questions...🤔

Edit: Apparently I missed this explanation that other players brought to my attention.
Here’s Luke Smith speaking to Kotaku on their podcast:
“At a point, just totally candidly, we had no idea what [The Darkness] was. Straight up, we had no clue. We didn’t know what it was. For a period, we chose we were going to lump all the races, and you can see this in the tool tips in the game: “Minions of the Darkness.” And we had taken all the races and said, ‘Ah, they just all be The Darkness.’ But that’s not what he IP deserves. It’s literally not. And so, what we’re doing with Destiny is we are deliberately telling a story about the Light and what it means to be chosen. And as such, we are in the process of removing the term “The Darkness” from the game because when we are going to talk about Darkness next, we need to know what it is and have a plan for it. And we do.”
And before I analyze that, let me briefly pivot to something else being written out of the game, the arc of the Exo Stranger. Here’s Smith talking to PC Gamer:
“We have a bunch of characters who are interesting, but the Exo Stranger is one that always makes me chuckle a little bit. Because I feel that’s one character where we actually wrapped up the arc. She gave you a sweet gun and then dissolved, presumably off to do something else. So I feel like, of all our characters we’ve introduced and exited, we actually exited her effectively
So, I guess there's that...😕
