Along with it, the figure Shadow had seen before held out his hand and drew her back. He was pulling on her essence, her literal existence as a free flowing concept. He was forcing her into physical form...[/b]

"Beyond myself? Is that what you'd think yourself to be? Do you even know who I am or what I'm wanting to do? My ambitions far exceed this place." [b]He smiled wickedly[/b] "You know? You truly are a wonder. What happens when I tamper with you?" [b]His hand held strange energy, it hurt the air and burned the sky. He looked to her, and laughed[/b] "How do you wish to proceed? Fighting, observing, or an more... less agreeable option?"

[i]Her head tilted then she smiled a small, sad smile.[/i] "Apathy. That is what I shall be." [i]She sighed.[/i] "If the Shining Darkness could not define me, then you will not shape me. A [concept] is not the pinnacle, but it is beyond what you shall reach, child." [i]She was gone. The note never existed, the guards still lived.
