[BOYCOTT D2-DECEMBER 7]
not my idea by any means but I stand firmly behind the november 7 boycott of D2 and just wanted to bring more attention to it

edit: let's up the anti, boycott the purchase of the first dlc unless we see real improvements to the game!

This NEEDS to be bumped n upvoted so then the ACTUAL REAL loyal vet players of Destiny can do the same. Everyone bump I can get behind this. But can u change the date tho? Maybe sooner? In November loss? Or this is the week for dawning isn’t it?

I’ll probably be playing Super Mario Odyssey and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 most of the time anyway lol I think I’ll only be playing Destiny 2 only once a week from now to do the power engrams or if anyone texts me to help them with D2. I don’t really care for the raid anymore and this is the first week any of my clan mates even finished the raid...which is surprising and sad, especially to hear from one of my best friends he’s done doing the raid since the rewards aren’t worth the effort. Idk about boycotting, just playing far less cause of the annoying token system for events and there really isn’t much to do in the game anymore...and holy crap, get rid of the token systems for events!!! They are more annoying to your players than anything you were going for with it. It’s to the point at the end of Iron Banner week I didn’t care to keep playing as much and went back to my Switch or other Xbox One games instead.

4 通の返信Let me help you out. Let’s say 800,000 ppl play daily. Then let’s say 2,000 ppl saw your post. Now obviously not everyone is going to boycott with you so I’ll give you half of that. Do you honestly believe Bungie is going to bat an eye at those missing 1000 players for one day? C’mon man. They already have your money.

Because everybody seems to have different ideas on what boycott means, here’s the definition from Wikipedia. “A boycott is an act of voluntary and intentional abstention from using, buying, or dealing with a person, organization, or country as an expression of protest, usually for social, political, or environmental reasons. The purpose of a boycott is to inflict some economic loss on the target, or to indicate a moral outrage, to try to compel the target to alter an objectionable behavior.”

2 通の返信What I don’t understand is if you don’t like the game why are you still playing it anyway? I know I stopped playing a few weeks ago. Not because I think it’s necessarily a bad game but because I felt like I’d had enough and wanted to play other stuff. My point is if it’s that bad shouldn’t you already be “boycotting” it by just not playing anymore? Seriously why [b]are[/b] you still playing if you think it’s that bad?

Destiny 2 is a casual game now, you can play other game, this boycott ain't fooling nobody.
