How's cuphead guys?

Weird question i know Planning on getting a new tv to use for gaming, recently going through the whole hurricane maria bullshit over here (a godamn piece of cement broke off and fell on top of where i put my old tv to keep it safe lol) Anyway I've haven't been able to sit through all the gaming news due to constant connection issues and communication failures (it's been more stable currently) Apparently cuphead is an amazing and difficult game, what are your thoughts if anyone has played it? Planning on making it my first purchase when the electricity comes back again

Meh. It's fun, don't get me wrong, as well as more challenging than most games today, but I feel it was overhyped. I found out I was breezing through the game on the hardest setting without me knowing it and it really wasn't that bad. I think the supposed "challenge" comes from people dying at multiple stages of boss fights because their entire arsenal changes up and if you aren't familiar with it, you'll probably die. That being said, it shouldn't deter you from buying it. It's fun, unique, and it has potential to last a while, depending on if you want to get a perfect score on everything. If you are pretty casual like me, I see it being a one or maybe two playthrough kind of game, as it doesn't seem to have a lot of replayability once you know the boss mechanics, and in my opinion, the fun comes from learning them :P
