I like the armor and all, but they really killed the raid and it's gear, especially the prestige raid. In D1, doing the raid was a large part of getting to Max light. It really made it worth doing, along with the gear.

Let me elaborate on what I mean. The D2 everything needs to be balanced setup killed it for my group. I'll list the reasons we raided in D1 which is not in D2. 1. Primary with burns were rare and only available in raids. Now no primary weapons have burns. I don't count energy weapons because we used to have a burn in each slot which is worth grinding for. 2. Raid exotics that are actually good. Best example I can give is Vex Mythoclast pre-nerf. Some in my clan actually deleted and remade characters just to get another shot at getting the drop every week until they got the gun. I don't see anyone remaking characters in this game. 3. Raid armor that has different stats. We replayed to get the armor stats that we want for PvE setup and PvP setup. All of these are lacking in this version of the game and it just doesn't seem as worthwhile. To be honest none of the exotics in this game feel exotic at all just for the sake of balance.

Yea we keep hoping they see our concerns but all these loyal fans like you and I are getting ignored it's heartbreaking. I just wish they'd tell us if they are willing to work with us or if this is how it's going to be from here on out so we'll know whether to keep playing or call it a day and move on.
