My friend texted me a link to this post. This summarizes exactly how I feel on the current state of the game. It was very well communicated and think Bungie should take a look at this.

**Obligatory we're trending update! - Truly hope Bungie will at least read the link as it is nothing but constructive criticism from a very good Destiny player. Hopefully they will see the countless threads of the community complaining about lack of content, state of the Crucible and end game. We all want the same thing, to enjoy the game, to "Become Legend" and not become bored.

11 通の返信STELにより編集済み: 10/10/2017 9:49:21 PMI did not realize that some of the materials are linked across character accounts, such as Glimmer, Shards, Medallions. My two boys made characters and I was wondering why I could not buy a thing with my Warlock, its because they were spending everything as quickly as I earned it. Lately they are not playing D2 as much as they did in the beginning. I have a TON of items that PISS me off from D1. Many I have voiced on the Forums. I gave D2 a last chance. Now there are MORE items that piss me off now than D1. I have NO intention of buying anything from Bungie in the future. It's really sad. I have been playing Bungie Games since Halo Evolve. Even my two boys say D2 SUCKS, one calls it Disappointing 2. Luke Smith - Deej - Cosmo, Bungie you have successfully destroyed the confidence of a LONG time consumer of your product AND two more potential future consumers. Yes I am throwing Luke, Deej and Cosmo into this because of how they treat the community through their snide remarks.

2 通の返信Why is no one talking about high cal or burst side arms .... High cal is a big advantage as you can win gun fights with stagger and do I need to say anything about burst side arms

This is great well-worded feedback that presents your critiques - as well as proposed solutions. I will definitely make sure it gets passed along with all of the other posts I have been sending to the dev team. I'm not making any promises that any of the changes or additions will be made that you suggested. But can assure you that we are listening to all of the community feedback and taking it into consideration.
Good on Cozmo for replying to Slayerage's post.

AAAnoFOO4uにより編集済み: 10/10/2017 8:41:58 PMBad loot. No rolls. Weak character. Raid without bosses. But D2 is better..... I'm a grinder without a grind. I paid to grind for the next 3 years, I got 3 weeks. I've never recorded and shared anything from D2 into my DVR, in D1 captures happened weekly. No space magic, no hammer &thongs. No phantom. No achievements, no bounties. No special moments. Does that say something. In the immortal words of a one horned legend....This is amazing...I cont beeleev whot I'm seeing... Well said Mr. sc_slayerage, thanks for documenting. Signed, A sad vet of 4000 hours

1 返信The problem with a well thought out, practical suggestion from the community is that once you throw it out there publicly, the developers will probably go with a totally different, convoluted solution that nobody asked for... because pride.

3 通の返信Spendgameにより編集済み: 10/10/2017 7:31:23 PMThis game has some of the lowest replayability ive seen from a pvp shooter in the last 15 years. It just falls too far below its peers. I shouldnt be lacking motivation to play a mp centric game THAT I LIKE PLAYING after 30 hours.

1 返信Regardless of your opinion of Slayerage, this is a very well thought out and well written post that hits on the core of Destiny's real problems. Bungie needs to read this, because it's full of truth that is shared by many people on this forum and reddit. Destiny 1 had it's flaws, but you can't deny those epic moments and feelings you would get when finding or getting that gun you've been after for so long. The exotic bounty quests... I still remember when I first got Thorn, BadJuJu, Ghorn in early vanilla... My favorite moment was when I finally got the urge to jump into the heroic VoG raid and got the Vex Mythoclast on my first go, everyone was mad, but I couldn't have been happier with Destiny. D2 has none of these feelings right now, I appreciate some of the new improvements like public events and such, but Destiny feels like it has no soul anymore. If I really think about it Destiny 1 really is the better game.

He has some fantastic ideas, only thing I disagree on is the sniping bit, if a sniper is supposed to have an unfair advantage at extended range, why doesn't it? In game it really doesn't which sucks but it's still fun to do. The idea he ahd for mods would be unreal, god rolls could return but not be a grind that potentially never ends. We'd be able to build guns and feel a sense of accomplishment once it's finished. Same for armour maybe?

7 通の返信ThyGreatestFlameにより編集済み: 10/10/2017 7:08:07 PMI agree on certain points. The re-playability and endgame are lacking. The activities seem like they're only meant to be done once, and don't seem to accommodate revisiting them. The endgame is minimal and confusing; the raid gives you tokens instead of straight loot, and keys whose chests you must find under the ship. That's enough to put people off that activity. There is no real depth to the endgame; there is no reason that you should go back into the game and do things again. Also, regarding his comments on power level, it's true that there isn't a meaningful sense of progression - one feels the same at 300 as they did at 200. One should feel like they have more options with their gear as they are levelling up, otherwise it's pointless. However I disagree on some things. Although, loot should give you a sense of progression, we don't need to have random rolls. But we do need quantity. Random rolls are only good because there is quantity to them - however the same feeling of mystery and hope can be found even with fixed rolls, it just means we need many more options. Reforging weapons is dangerous because of balance reasons, which I know is a controversial subject. If we manage to get reforging, what happens when a 'perfect' weapon appears? Suddenly everyone wants to make their 'perfect' weapon, and we end up with a HoW reforging issue. With regards to his comments on particular loot, I only agree that some loot should be more powerful than they are. For example: the raid gear doesn't have some set raid perk. Any endgame gear should always carry some set perk or perks that help with the raid - it was great in D1 to have raid specific gear, and one would enjoy collected all the pieces because they gave them that set perk and they could have something to show for their progress. Now, the only thing we can do with the raid gear is look good. Endgame loot needs to be deeper than that. However, exotics don't need major buffs so as to reach the iconic levels of D1. We don't need to have another Gjallarhorn era. We don't need to be able to decimate things. What Bungie needs to do is somehow find a middle ground between making exotic weapons an important part of your arsenal and really giving you options in a scenario, and not making them too powerful to the point where using them eventually makes everything boring and easy. Finally, I disagree with his dichotomy that he introduces: unfairness or boredom. Unfairness is only fun for the people who have - have the skills, have the luck, have the weapons. For everyone else, unfairness means they can't enjoy the game they want to enjoy. At the same time, boredom is incredibly subjective - many players are having a lot of fun even now, even if some others have grown bored. Summary The key here is the content and the gameplay. The beginning and middle of the game, I enjoyed quite a bit. The campaign, the post-campaign activities, they were fun to do. But then once you're done, you're out of stuff to do. And the stuff that remains, i.e. the endgame, doesn't have enough replay value for reasons of lack of things to do, and lack of depth or quantity to the rewards. People will have fun if there are meaningful things to do and they are appropriately rewarded. Fun does not mean we have to completely sacrifice balance; this is a false dichotomy. They can exist together, it is possible.

Spectacularly well written, critical of things that need addressing and then giving suggestions. I cannot really disagree with any of his points. Bungie needs to decide what the game is grind fest or short term investment game and then let us know.
