2 通の返信They need to put the original nightfall modifier back on. If all 3 members of a fireteam die you are returned to orbit and have to start all over.

The timer can stay as a gate for higher rewards, but making it a requirement for completion just isn't fun. The Nightfall is challenging as-is. I'd be happy even if it were more challenging - but don't kick me out when I'm at the end of a tough grind just because there weren't a few more seconds on a clock. Allow us to finish the thing for standard rewards, finish under time for better rewards, etc and so on... Just my $0.02...

29 通の返信So 77% of people want loot handed to them with little to no effort. Really can't handle a challenge much?

5 通の返信Qeylisにより編集済み: 10/5/2017 3:41:41 PMWho are the 1/4 of voters that like lazy development? Who are the 1/4 of voters that like artificial difficulty? That's crazy to me. I expected to see 20 or 30 votes from a few trolls. But either this board is filled with trolls (a distinct possibility) or there is a larger than expected minority of players that don't understand what fun is.

I think that there needs to be a timer to some extent. If they made it so if you didn't complete it in the timer you would still get loot but if you did it within the time limit give maybe 2 luminous engrams instead of one from zavala.

10 通の返信Here's an idea. Let's make it the best of both worlds. Remove the timer penalty completely where you are removed from the NF if you don't finish it before time. But if you finish before the timer runs out, then you get a guaranteed legendary drop. Also if you finish with 5 minutes remaining, you get a guaranteed exotic drop. That way people might want to get better and grind for these drops. Like I said best of both worlds.

I don't mind timers, but only if they are a modifier, so once every two weeks say a the nightfall modifier has a timer on it, maybe you jump through hoops, kill enemies or shoot anomalies. If you don't beat it within the timer maybe lesser rewards or not as many, or it does it like it does it now, boots you to orbit.

I love the timers. It forces you to take action and have a plan. You might have to try the nightfall a few times to get it right so there is finally some challenge to it. Gone are the days of camping with icebreaker in a corner and popping heavy synth so you can heavy your way through a nightfall in an hour long snore fest for rewards. I mean, what a shame to have some end game content be even slightly challenging or instill a sense of accomplishment when you complete it.

Sorry to say this but polls like these are absolute waste of time and effort. Why? Because 3mil people play this game and their collective actions are the only thing that matters, not opinions of few people who reply to this.

2 通の返信I like it and I don't. I don't think we need the timer each week. I think sometimes it's a fun challenge. It comes down to the combination of modifiers for me. The first two Nightfalls with the element damage and add timer through kills, followed by jumping through hoops the next week, was fun. This week was not fun at all but more about memorizing every anomalies location, while having to move to gain health.

2 通の返信The only "good" thing about the timer is that it actually made the nightfall feel more like a nightfall since they basically made it a slightly difficult strike at the end of D1. That being said having a timer on top of enemies that basically 1 to 2 shot you makes it more difficult than a nightfall should really even be. It either needs to be removed or reworked like instead of it being a failure maybe its an aggro timer for the boss like how Raid bosses are.

7 通の返信The only reason they added timers was to stop people from soloing nightfalls by exploiting buggy maps and ai. Bungie couldn't be bothered to actually fix the bugs, so this is their half-arsed bandaid fix

2 通の返信DynamixOGにより編集済み: 10/5/2017 3:37:02 PMPersonally, it depends. I liked last weeks where they gave you the max time right off the start or when all you had to do was kill enemies to gain time ( after all they don’t want you to rush through it right?) This whole jumping thru hoops and shooting anomalies or running to gain health is ridiculous af. Maybe if they made it to where getting the time is reasonable or just bring back kick to orbit when you wipe and be done with it since they’re already lazy
