I hate to say it, but I am officially "Bored" of D2
THIS IS NOT A HATE POST! JUST STATING THE WAY I FEEL!
This is my second account, on my main account I played D1 from year 1 all the way up until D2 launch and can safely say there were very few times I was "bored". but I have already found myself bored of D2 and no matter what I do, I cant stop feeling this way. I complete everything there is to do ON reset, Ive grinded pub events until I can no longer take it, & ive gotten fed up with the Mida bullsh!t in PVP too many times to count.
Any advice on what to do to not be bored of a game that isnt even a month old?
Edit: For people saying play a warlock or hunter, I cannot stand to play either of those. No disrespect to those who main them, I just cant stand to play them. I just genuinely feel like they didnt add enough content. They targeted casuals as their priority and I hope it bites them in the ass in the long run.

I feel the same mate, the only thing that makes me want to play a loot shooter is loot, and even exotic engrams bore me now. They need to bring back random rolls quickly or they will lose a ton of players. The only thing that would make me want to play is the possibility of getting one of my fave guns with better talents on it. And why the hell cant I choose what style of pvp to play, I might want to play survival and I`ll get that other mode 3 times in a row.

2 通の返信The game is 1/3 the content of the way through year 1, no wonder there's not much content, your used to having 3 years of content to do in D1 this isn't even 1 year. It has no less content then the last COD release and more content than battlefield 1 including dlcs...it's fine for a release product size

2 通の返信They completely forgot about the hardcore players, the ones that put this game on the map, and catered to the casual kids. The raid is the worst by far. All puzzles and one boss battle with crap rewards. I enjoy puzzles but if there were actual boss battles it would have held its longevity. Games just boring. They're following the call of duty business model. Same reskinned crap every year with a higher number added to the name.

9 通の返信Honestly, the game is beautiful. When it starts feeling redundant, I just wander around the different planets, looking at the different little details. ie: On IO, close to the Pyramidion, there are all kinds of Osiris relics and I even found one of the Trials of the Nine symbols. Kinda gives some feel of lore embedded into the scenery. It could be wishful thinking but what if we get a VoG style raid within the Pyramidion in a later DLC? Would be cool to meet up with Osiris to take down Quria and the Vex once and for all. There's just more to it than the [i]grind[/i].

7 通の返信Warframe? There is always something interesting to grind for. And you can pay whenever and whatever you want. Join a clan and get stuff for free from friendly people.

We went from a good amount of content at the end of destiny 1 to basically vanilla level content in the beginning of destiny 2 because they left everything else behind. 2. There's not much to grind for and if you played a crap ton of destiny 1 this is the same game with some Improvements so you're already burned out to begin with. Overall, game plays well but I'm disappointed in the content. Just not enough to replace what we had.

10 通の返信I hear ya. I played nightfall last night and that was the first time I've even done that strike. Why? There's no reason to play strikes. They have content but just no reason to play it.

2 通の返信Honestly, playing a hunter or warlock is just extending time for no real reason if you aren't enjoying the game, I play three hunters but I only.log into one of them because I just can't be bothered. This game definitely has less attraction then the first, even during the first few months of d1.

1 返信Any tips on getting to 300 besides doing the Raid or being in a Clan? Just broke into the 280's and I figure stopping at 300 was the smart route.

Keep in mind we are getting a "major" free content update in October. Might bring new things that can keep your interest longer. My source isn't very reliable, just something I got from a video on release that was talking about upcoming content.

Its all in the mindset. Bungie has clearly developed the end-game as cosmetic. Once you get all the guns and armor from the raid and trials(which I have no idea how you could) the grind will be for shaders and such. Bungie just needs to add an incentive. There's a load of content, just no reason to do it. Maybe make rolls come back in a different way? I don't know. Currently I'm lucky because school got in the way and I'm far behind in the destiny grind. By the time I'll get bored the next dlc will be out.
