I'm not here to argue the difference or preference rate or perceived superiority of controller vs mouse & keyboard. I'm am simply requesting that Bungie implement the option to disable aim assist when using a controller for Destiny 2 (at least for PC). Many games are allowing this option for both PC and console for controIlers. I play in 3 different ways depending on what screen and seating position. 1. Controller with zero aim assist 2. Mouse & Keyboard for traditional play 3. Xbox One Elite Controller remapped with paddles & customized to the game I'm playing to be used in the left hand for movement while using a mouse in the right hand for precise aiming. My post is mostly directed to aim assist with a controller but it would also be nice if the game responded well to the use of multiple input devices so I can play with option 3 which is personally my favorite way to play. Aim assist is necessary for many controller users. However, it is an undeniable fact that there are controller users who play well without & prefer zero aim assist. I find aim assist to be extremely disruptive when playing Destiny or any other first person shooter. Bungie, please add this small bit of versatility to the game.
