I don't see anything weird with the Pop Tarts and Rockstar sponsorships. Destiny 2 is a game marketed towards teens. What do most teens like? Sugary food and energy drinks. I know I certainly did when I was 14/15.
Fight Spinner follows the same logic. Teens tend to have shorter attention spans and problems focusing and that's what a Figet Spinner is meant to help with.
The Virgin Media one is a little bit odd though.

Let me reiterate somewhat; Destiny is a game marketed towards teens. Pop Tarts and Rockstar are products teens generally tend to like. Therefore, being sponsored by these companies earns Bungie more money. When you look at it from that perspective it makes a lot more sense. Also, Fidget Spinners are designed to help kids with ADHD, anxiety, and autism. That was one of the main reasons they were invented, so go figure. CORRECTION: So it turns out the claims made by manufacturers that fidget spinners help people with ADHD and the like are pretty exaggerated according to scientists. Either way, they're marketed as such and in any case they're just a dumb toy for kids and teens to play with anyway so my argument still stands.
