13 通の返信Give it a rest will you? Luke Smith may be arrogant, he may have his bad qualities etc etc....but you are no better than him by posting insults aimed at him just because of mistakes his made of said. Quit acting like you are so perfect in so many ways. Dont like what he said or the games policy? Here's a thought....go play something else. No one is holding you at gunpoint to play it.

2 通の返信I couldn't agree more. This is a game for kids. It shows in the difficulty, the story, the dialogue (forced corny quips from cayde that is praised for being good character interaction). Also, it's only about money, not making an enjoyable game for players. For example Pvp favours the sweaty competitive players and overlooks the average consumer, because lets face it, having destiny as an e-sport will make them a shit ton of money, so much that they will sacrifice the wants of the majority of their consumers It's quite shameful that after lying to us so many times that they would do this. I doubt I will be playing much when it comes out, after all of my mates stop playing

1 返信stealthにより編集済み: 8/1/2017 7:31:23 PMGood post, i actually agree with all of it! I've said in previous posts about the issues with the beta! If they had already changed heavy drops and super charge rates etc they would have communicated this first so people knew! It would have saved them a lot of negative feedback, but like you said they are in damage control

1 返信I thought this was a good post. Notice how so many people on these forums HATE criticism of destiny? It's like a freaking ancient religion. If you even criticize stuff that needs a closer look, you get ripped apart by Bungie's zombies. There are plenty of Bungie fans who love this game, and they're the ones that criticize it.

39 通の返信DuBChiri2により編集済み: 8/1/2017 9:55:09 PMI still don't understand how simplifying things that already weren't complex is bad(AND IM DIRECTLY REFERRING TO AND TALKING ABOUT DESTINY 1)...skill tree? Easy Weapons? Even easier, especially for pve Maps? You would have to be stupid or blind not to be able to understand what's right in front of you Story? There wasn't a real story in the original, lore doesn't count This guy is only pointing out what they made more SIMPLE, which makes me think he's rather simple minded...if they force you to choose your weapons carefully for pve because of locked load outs...explain to me again how or why that pushes more towards kids? Because kids don't want to make a decision, they just want to play...hey that sounds like a LOT of "core destiny players" interesting... And simplifying something needlessly complex doesn't mean your making it easier and selling it towards kids, your making it more enjoyable for the players who play the game on an on off basis, which is probably more of the "core players" anyways. If the game was simplified like people keep saying...and if it's directed more towards kids...why is it easier for us to get killed in pve...why do we do less damage in pve...why do strike bosses do high damage and have an incredible amount of health? Because shit like that doesn't sell to kids, not one bit. People are taking words to an an extreme thats almost ridiculous and are purposely judging the game BEFORE it fully comes out, now was the beta a great source of feedback for many? Definitely, but it shouldn't be taken so seriously. Halo 5 "simplified" it's forge mode to speed up the building process, but to a player like me who is a veteran at creating maps BEFORE halo 5, it feels much more complex because it's "streamlined" towards improving the building process, which actually made it slower and almost tedious to deal with. Just because it's designed more for kids doesn't mean it removes choice or difficulty, because there are plenty of old kids games out there that would dominate modern gamers. People need to keep stupid opinions like this to themselves (hypocrite?) Example: Street fighter is a simple game, but that doesn't mean that it's an easy one, and that's something that a lot of gamers miss.

1 返信So you mean you just copy and pasted something that's already in the forums and made a post about it when there is already the same post

19 通の返信For a lot of negativity in the post, I agree with a most of it but especially one thing. The game isn't aimed folks like me, mature gamers who care deeply about story, care deeply about the structure of missions, weapon perks, improvements to raids and all manner of things PVP. This game is aimed at Casuals** and Kids. Why? Casuals** don't give a flying -blam!- about anything other than loot. The type of casual player I'm talking about anyway. Casuals and Kids don't care about dialogue, story, interesting weapons or fun mechanics. They only care about how easy the game will be, what the easiest & cheesiest way to get loot and what the best gun is in Crucible. I noticed something very odd. In the early Marketing for Destiny 2 we all had a laugh at Ghaul being called "Gary". Later down the line Bungie mentioned on Twitter, "do not call him Gary." Now we have pre order bonuses with Dancing Cabal! Is that some sort of joke? Dancing Cabal? To -blam!-ing Vanilla Ice? But that's marketing to the stupid. Let me clarify the term, Causals. **When I mean casual players, I mean Causal minded. Casual minded players don't care about dialogue or how cheesy it is because hey cheesy jokes are fun right! Causal minded players only care about the absolute best possible gun for PVE/PVP, they'll never appreciate or enjoy a different weapon because it isn't as easy to use. They will use Black Spindle in Patrol😐 Casual players only play what's popular at the time, which means in a month when a new popular game comes out they will play that instead. They might come back for DLC but otherwise they leave for other games. But in that time they spend in PVP they complain about how bad the weapons are, but never improve or adapt, which results in Bungie nerf'ing weapons into the ground only for these Casuals & Kids to leave anyway. Which leaves the mature gamers with a shocking state of weapon balance for months. Also. Because Casuals leave for ages and come back for DLC, they don't mind that they have to do missions that are just backwards from the original missions pre DLC. They just blindly shoot and get loot. But is hardcore folk are -blam!-ing tired of these areas and want fresh new content. But hey. I realise some casual players just play for fun, don't have all day and all night to play. I respect that. But you aren't the type of "casual" I am talking about. I'm talking about the casuals who aren't attached to Destiny like I am. Or care for Destiny and want it to improve like I am. If you read all of this, I salute you. Kind of ranted a wee bit.

3 通の返信StiviXにより編集済み: 8/2/2017 1:17:06 AMI'm on my phone so I'm not going to address everything. Just going to say regarding your input in Deej's crucible comment: Smaller teams does make it less chaotic and easier to identify mistakes. Your gripe about the removal of a raw kill stat on the board means nothing. Kill stat is an individual stat and little more than an ego boost and they've pushed towards a more team oriented mindset, hence the efficiency stat.
One more thought: If you had no intention of shipping the game to play like this, then why did you give us a beta with outdated tuning?
You must be too young to remember, but there was a point in time where video game demos existed and the distinction between betas and demos was more clear. Betas serve to test infrastructure on their end with a real population on the network. The priority isn't giving the gamers a taste of the game but ensure everything won't go to complete shit when the game launches and a mass influx of players come on at once. Demos were small snippets of the final game, generally a very exciting portion but lacking crucial story spoilers (if applicable). The sole purpose of demos was to sell the game to players.

3 通の返信I really don't know why you took my post and reposted it here, where i am not even able to get notifications when people make replies. If my post inspired you to leave the Destiny universe, then so be it. But you should have just used your own words instead of bootlegging something that i took a lot of time planning, writing and responding to when it was actually my post. Lame move bro.

Good post, but I'll have to try it out for sure. $60 is a big buy in many peoples wallet but it will be worth the "try" because of how many hours I put into D1. The PvE might be better, the PvP might be better (if tuned and vastly different from the Beta). These are huge MIGHTS but still worth a try. At least then I can complain about what they created or possibly wait for a fixed version much like D1. D1 changed a lot from year 1 to Year 3 however, all the versions of D1 seemed better than D2 Beta tbh
