The colours of fallen houses are important to the identity of the houses, I believe they're not just random colours: the Devils being red, the Kings being gold/yellow, and the Winter being blue - all these colours have common shared connotations to the name of the houses, red and Devils for example. Furthermore they always seem to pick typically primary colours (red, blue, green, yellow), the wolves were blue when winter already was blue - why have the same colour again, why not chose orange or pink or something? 1. Generally only use primary colours 2. Blue is generally a cold colour also associate with loyalty and unity. Purple however isn't a primary colour (not in science or art). It's a secondary, a combination of primary colours, red and blue create purple. This could represent what makes up the identity of the house: the blue and red houses in one. The wolves, winter and Devils are all broken with no leadership, no order, lack of ether due to no (known of) primes. Devils are pretty crushed after RoI; Winter have been depressed and struggling since we killed their kell in vanilla; Wolves are just barely getting by trying to survive on Mars. I think it would make sense for most of the fallen in these houses to put aside their differences and band together under 1 house for survival. I personally don't think the reef or the Kings are involved. This is because the Kings are in a strong position (and yellow doesn't fit in with purple). Although the reef's colour scheme is purple and gold they don't have the power to control a house that size plus the house would not be hostile towards guardians if they were allied with the reef. Ulldren has some tie with the kell of Kings but I think this is completely unrelated to this house, I think he has a different plan in store which we will find out about later down the D2 story. If bungie effectively implements in-game lore in D2 I guess we'll find out in September the true origins of this house, but at this moment in time this is my best guess.

Wretches and Marauders... Shock Spear Dregs and Stealth Vandal 2.0. Anyone notice how they move around a lot more than they did in D1? They climb shit more than once, they crawl... it's pretty cool.

So I've seen them now and from what I can tell wreachs are lower then dregs having less armor and everything. Then muraders might be equal to or lower then vandals. They have less armor but also are stealthy so that could be why. These fallen are very different to the normal ones. For one it appeares the four armed ones had shock knives grafted to their hands. They also had those spewed which we've never seen before. What I find interesting is that the pikes are purple and gold, which are usually associated with royalty. I'm starting to think these are a new super house headed be the kings. The wreches could be former members of other houses and since the king look down on all non kings that could be why they're lower. This is just speculation so don't hold me to it but I think it's possible.

Would be sweet to have a playable Fallen class introduced. I know it has been talked about before but I can see it happening. Variks could rally a force to join the Guardians in fighting against the Cabal, thus earning the light and their place. Could make the player model based on a Vandal. Use the same subclasses. Wishful thinking but I'm sure the thought has been tossed around at Bungie.

All I remember is the house color is purple. Didn't see any markings on the Pikes and I missed the enemies because my fire team killed them quickly.

I remember someone also suggesting a theory that this is a brand new house that is uniting under Mara Sov's brother (can't recall his name at the moment).

Could this be like an amozonian house perhaps? Like all female. They're colors are pink/purple and they're names seem like veristion of the original names. Wreach=dreg Murader=vandle It'd be a cool way of shaking things up.

I think the fallen on nessus may be kings. With the new fallen designs it's hard to tell but I'm thinking either kings or exile

There's also Marauders too. But those Wretches might be like a new rank similar to what Variks used to be.....sorta
