Hello.
So I already have the app, and a blizzard acount due to playing World of Warcraft several of their other games. I was going to order the Digital Deluxe edition, but as I ordered a new computer I got a voucher for Destiny 2 with the GPU - for PC of couse. Seeing as that is the "Standard" edition, can I redeem that copy of the game, then pay an "upgrade" fee to upgrade to Digital Deluxe or will I be locked to Standard? Talked to Blizzard support, they said "While this is not our game if we sell it on our web site and not just Bungie's then I suspect it work the same as our other games.
You wil be charged only the extra cost to upgrade.
BUT..
This is a Bungie game, not a BLIZZARD game, so maybe poke them as well to see if they are going to do this too.

I'd say that you will pay the upgrade price once you've redeemed the code for the copy of destiny 2. I'm in the process of doing the exact same thing you are (shiny new 1080 will be on the way very soon). The text on the upgrade says that since the game is in your library you just pay the upgrade price, and since after you activate the code it's in your library I would expect it to be the same. The actual result remains to be seen I suppose.
