As long as the game is good I don't care that it's only 30fps. I've gotten used to it after 3 years it doesn't bother me.
Edit: Just to clarify: I'm not saying I want 30fps. I'd take 60 over 30 any day of the week. However, I'm not going to complain just because Destiny 2 is capped at 30fps. To me, gameplay/content>FPS/Graphics.

2 通の返信Finally! I don't give a crap what the fps is, as long as it's a solid, Bungie made game.

5 通の返信I do care, it's outrageous it isn't 60fps... but then again I preordered thirst thing and gonna play it for 2k hours. Because I love Destiny

8 通の返信Since I pretty much only play Destiny (and Skyrim), I've never played a game with 60 FPS and won't miss it The worst thing Bungie could have done was to have Have some consoles on 60 and some in 30 then put them on the same servers for pvp This avoids that

Tbh I really don't care much at all, yeah sure 60fps is great but 30 is still fine, just like graphics - or at least realistic graphics, it's doesn't really matter. It only matters when your game starts to judder and freeze because the frame rate has dropped so low...

2 通の返信I honestly think there is still possible hope for Scorpio. Whatever the name will be. I know they said 30 for consoles but when you start wrapping a pic into a co sole like the Scorpio specs sort of has and possible what the ps5 or bro will have if it drops next year or after. I would think 60 fps will be standard You have to also look at the rendering of the fps. It's not just the power of the console. It's the bandwidth the game will use to load you in and out of. This is all just speculation too so just through it like "salt" over your shoulder lol

I'm still leaning towards not getting this and allotting all my time towards RD2 and have a lot of complaints but 30 fps doesn't bother me at all. 60 would have be a positive from me but I'm used to 30 and D1 played just fine with it. That certainly will have no impact on my decision either way.

3 通の返信Frame rate doesn't bother me. I hate to sound like a typical forum salt miner but I'm more disappointed that all the activities are running on a p2p connection. That is not good enough for a AAA title in my opinion. It's 2017, I played For Honour and that was terrible due to p2p connections. I'm really hopeful they have reworked the engine and that pvp especially will not suffer as much as Destiny 1 from lag etc. But so far Destiny 2 looks like it's running on almost the same engine. I'm still super excited for the campaign and end game pve content and all inbetween but I'm approaching pvp with low expectations which is sad really as I have put up with the lag and low tick rates in destiny 1 because its an old game. If it's still there in the sequel I don't think I'll be playing as much pvp because I can't be bothered to get that frustrated for another 3 years.

4 通の返信I would prefer 60, but a rock steady 30 is fine. But seeing as they couldn't guarantee that in D1 (I'm looking at you golgoroth and siege engine!), I'm skeptical.
