Who here doesn't care that Destiny 2 is 30 fps on console?
As long as the game is good I don't care that it's only 30fps. I've gotten used to it after 3 years it doesn't bother me.
Edit: Just to clarify: I'm not saying I want 30fps. I'd take 60 over 30 any day of the week. However, I'm not going to complain just because Destiny 2 is capped at 30fps. To me, gameplay/content>FPS/Graphics.

5 通の返信A Bluray movie plays at roughly 25 fps yet the pitchforks don't come out for movie companies when the latest Star Wars movie releases, the human eye can "see" up to 1000 frames per second yet can barely differentiate between anything above 25 fps, stop listening to people that don't know what the fück they're talking about.

2 通の返信Spicy Flakesにより編集済み: 5/22/2017 6:36:37 PMSome people are extremely biased (chances are because of how they grew up so some are significantly less understanding than others and expect the absolute best because reasons of ignorance most likely) I grew up with those shitty box TV's, sometimes you could barely tell what you were even looking at, sometimes the colors didn't even work and it was just black and white But that stuff never bothered If the game was fun, it never irked me about frames or graphics because it all looks great to me now compared to back then I don't need the best frames or tv/computer just to play a game So there's no real reason for people to be griping about things like this when a few years back things were significantly lower in quality On the opposite spectrum we could also talk about why games were technically better back then but that's not what this topic is about so I'm not touching that subject

This guy doesn't. Since it's in 30fps it means the game won't be trying as hard to push out the higher fps, which in turn won't require as much effort from the engine and might allow more things to be happening. But this is just a hope. After all it is bungo

7 通の返信Yeah dude, I couldn't give less of a shit about "muh framerates tho". My kid plays overwatch on pc at 60 fps, still a corny cartoon bonanza where you can't even aim down sights. Bleah. Nerds have been faggin off over graphics since Atari 2600. Of course a cleaner looking game is preferable. But I will always take fun and good mechanics over looking beautiful. I'd rather play Adventure than Altered Beast.

14 通の返信It's kinda Sony hurt themselves (even Microsoft with Scorpio if it turns out to be the same) with this incremental console release i.e. PS4 Pro. If they are going to be limited by the Vanilla PS4 then what's the point of the "Pro" moniker. No! 4K users are a minority and the Pro can't do it natively anyways. So if someone looking at getting Destiny what's the point of getting it on PS4 Pro?

I think all the people crying about it just don't have 4k TV's so I understand why they would rather have 1080 60fps. But I wonder if it was 1080 could it handle 60fps. There's a lot of shit going on in destiny.

Provided Destiny is a driect x game which i'm 95% sure of then Scorpio has a real chance to run @ 60 and capping it at 30 would be criminal, truly sad for the industry. From luke and Marks IGN interview I really got the impression that Bungie did there best to get PS4 Pro running at 60 but just couldn't.. With Destiny 2 coming to Windows PC's and 2 Xbox consoles Microsoft need to be looked after too. This is not a Sony game and there are awesome incentives to play on Playstation. Gamers and Developer have been wanting a console like Scorpio for years and now that it's almost here there's talk of choking it.. If this console can Run Destiny 2 at 60 FPS then let it breath. And for the Luddites wanting Parity.. I find it completely insane that 30FPS players on PC will be playing Trials of Osiris and all D2 content with 60 - 144 fps players yet everyone cries bloody murder if a console has a 30 - 60 possibility. Don't tell me that there won't be many PC 30 players coz there will be sht loads! People ALWAYs play games on sub par hardware, older gaming laptops, older entry level cards, bare minimum ram, etc.. If Bungie come out and say Scorpio just can't run it. I will except it and stop. If they admit parity and cap it at 30 then we know they caged this Eagle and threw away the key. At Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary I experienced a large Eagle perched on my Arm. They can fly away anytime but they don't because they are loved.

Luke boasted the PS4 Pro as super powerful but 60 is too far away. Luke's actual words "it will not run at 60.... On the Pro" There was a decent pause before he specified "On the Pro" possibly implying that the other console in question Project Scorpio is different.. Luke also said that they are going to be really up front about these details. Using this theory if Scorpio can run the game at 60 but Bungie lock it at 30 then they have to let us know WHY and be up front about it. All of the other end of year FPS shooters will run at 60 on Scorpio. Bungie will look criminal if they hold this console back regardless of the Xbox1's 30. It's time to evolve console. If Destiny 2 is DX12 based then It probably ran the game 4K 60 un-optimised. What developer would have the heart to down clock such a thing. Like us, Developers have also been screaming for a console like this. Scorpio's fate is yet to be decided...
