Make a game with an actual story. Get rid of grimoire. Give us more than general dialogue and "go there to shoot stuff for me" missions. Make us care about the world and characters. Give us more than cardboard cutout characters(like Cayde being strictly comical). Make Destiny actually have RPG elements rather than "loot" and "upgrades". Make us feel like we matter more than just killing aliens. Build up the world to be more than a shoot and loot area or a strike to run through hundreds of times. MAKE AN ACTUAL AAA GAME. Stop resetting gear/level to make us grind for the same shit while doing the same shit. Stop re-skinning everything. Stop selling DLC in which you have to have in order to play most of the game you already bought. Stop putting in slightly altered enemies, maps, missions, etc.(content) ESPECIALLY IN DLC and make worthwhile content. Stop over nerfing/buffing things and learn how to actually balance your game. Separate your PvP and PvE changes. Communicate with your fanbase rather than patronizing them. BE A GOOD DEVELOPER. Treat people less like mindless drones and more like people with standards. Make a game that isn't a shallow scam to attract as many people as possible while not putting anything worthwhile in it. Make Destiny 2 what Destiny 1 should've been. I know none of this will really happen. Destiny 1 was what Bungievision wanted. What monstrosity that Bungie/Destiny has become is the result of the horrible mess that gamers have let the overall gaming scene become. They will milk you dry with microtransactions, loot boxes, and as little effort/content as possible. I've sold my PS4/Xbox One and have left this pitiful community of the once great Bungie. I'll watch what unfolds without the blinding retardation of collector editions, CGI/cutscene trailers, streamer hype, or empty promises. I'll laugh at all of the poor idiots if everything continues in the way I believe it will. However, if change does come about and I'm wrong, I will be pleasantly surprised to a point where I might reconsider things. [b]Edit:[/b] After watching the reveal, it seems I was correct in my thoughts of the worst case scenario. Activision must've pressured you guys to release your game rather quickly, huh? You have a game with such insignificant changes/additions as a sequel that I can easily call it an expansion to Destiny 1. I take it the two other studios later given to help out with Destiny 2 and the year extension was to work on the PC version or something? Because I don't see how that work force and time could've resulted in so little. I'm sure making the new engine also took up a lot of time for the original time-span. It's sad. You don't even have dedicated servers(after how P2P was such a problem already) for the PC version and you have the game locked at 30 FPS for consoles(IN 2017). You don't have any new enemies(MAYBE different variations, continuing in Destiny 1's lazy footsteps) or any new classes to choose from(besides ONE "new" subclass for each). The game looks the same in all aspects. Sure, you added in a few tweaks and additions here and there, but they're so insignificant that it could've probably been added in an update to Destiny 1. It's so shameful. You still have ships as loading screens. Really? You took away all of our cosmetic stuff from Destiny 1 for no reason besides the chance we wouldn't keep grinding for other crap we wouldn't want as much. Either that or it was "too hard" in between different games. Way to go. The most pathetic part is that people will still defend everything... including the same content scheme. Nightfalls, strikes, a few planets, and ONE RAID will be what people get to expect. How can you not call this a ripoff? Meanwhile future DLC has already been announced for the game even before the reveal! I suppose that Destiny 2 will be a worthy successor to Destiny 1 after-all.
